COVER STORY
Give us an over view on the Indian CE industry, trends and market
dynamics.
India’s infrastructure growth is creating strong demand across INTERACTION
both large-scale and mid-sized equipment categories. Major
projects—including expressways, metro networks, and industrial
corridors—require high-capacity, high-precision machinery,
an area where Dynapac, BOMAG, Marini, and PTC hold global
leadership. Simultaneously, mid-sized and compact equipment
continues to play a crucial role in rural road construction, urban
development, smart-city initiatives, and routine maintenance.
With its broad and diverse product portfolio, the Fayat Group
is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of both segments,
delivering solutions that combine high productivity, fuel efficiency,
and intelligent digital capabilities suited to a wide range of project
requirements.
How is your organisation integrating advancements in
digitalisation, automation, AI, telematics and predictive
technologies to enhance productivity, safety, lifecycle value
and overall machine performance for customers?
The Fayat Group is leading the digital transformation of road
construction machinery. Dynapac’s Dyn@Link and Dyn@Lyzer
platforms utilise AI-driven analytics, cloud-based connectivity,
and performance benchmarking to enable real-time monitoring
and predictive maintenance. BOMAG integrates advanced
digital guidance and precision tools in its milling and compaction
systems to support superior operator accuracy. Marini employs
intelligent controls for temperature regulation, mix optimisation,
and energy efficiency. PTC uses digital technologies to enhance
vibration accuracy and overall jobsite productivity. Together, this
connected digital ecosystem empowers contractors to improve
safety, minimise downtime, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
