Give us an overview on the RMC Equipment market, latest technology
trends and market dynamics. What are the RMC equipment currently
in demand.
Drivers for RMC segment is Real Estate – Residential & Commercial,
Metro Rail & Urban Infrastructure projects. The RMC sector is witnessing
a steady growth in the last decade, thanks to the Central and State
Govt’s initiative of various Infrastructure development projects in the
country. Till early part of 2000, RMC had cemented its place only in
the urban cities, however in the last decade RMC has its roots even
in Tier-II & III cities. In most developed Countries RMC constitutes
60-70% of cement consumption, whereas in India RMC consumption
is ~ 10-12% of cement. With rising Infrastructure projects and RMC
expanding to rural area the consumption rate of cement is expected
to increase.
