Waterproofing is no longer a peripheral activity in construction;
it has become central to enhancing the durability, safety,
and sustainability of buildings and infrastructure. Effective
waterproofing protects structures from water-induced deterioration,
preserves aesthetics, and promotes healthy living by preventing
moss, fungus, and damp-related issues. In infrastructure projects, it
extends service life, reduces maintenance costs, and safeguards
structural integrity—making it a critical contributor to sustainable
construction. The Construction Chemicals (CC) and waterproofing
industry in India is now mature, valued at approximately `25,000
crore, and growing at a CAGR of 17–20% despite challenges such
