India’s Compaction Market is Moving from Volume to Value.
The Indian compaction equipment market today reflects a clear
shift in customer mindset. Historically, procurement decisions were
largely acquisition-cost driven. However, increasing project complexity
and tighter delivery timelines are pushing contractors to prioritize
productivity, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
Large national infrastructure programs, combined with growing
private participation and mechanization of road construction, are
creating sustained demand across both soil and asphalt compaction
segments. Fleet owners are increasingly evaluating machines based
