ExEcutivE connEct SUPREME MARKETEER Sanu George has been appointed Head, Sales & Marketing, SDLG, India with immediate effect. He takes over the reins from B Shridhar who moves on to a marketing role for Volvo CE. As the new head of SDLG business in India, Sanu will be responsible for further strengthening the company’s position in India. His arrival at the sales and marketing helm of the company comes at a time when the country’s construction industry is going through its lowest phase. However the fact that the wheel loader and motor grader markets have shown growth this year comes as a good augury and a challenge for the company. SDLG globally has a wide product offering from wheel loaders, compactors, motor graders, excavators and backhoes. With over 24 years of service, Sanu George has varied extensive experience in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Channel Development, sourcing and managing a company owned dealership for construction equipment. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the National institute of Engineering, Mysore. DESIGN CZAR A design consultant and interior expert, Ashok Kularia heads ANJ Turnkey Projects Pvt Ltd as its Managing Director. Having imbibed a love for the furniture business from his father from an early age his enthusiasm naturally culminated in his involvement in the family business at the age of 22. With his personal involvement with clients and eye-for-detail approach, Ashok has spearheaded ANJ’s transformation from a civil interior contracting firm to one of India’s leading design and build firms. Kularia’s firm specialises in corporate fit-outs and competes with some of the global giants of the industry. He is currently handling a gamut of prestigious clients across India and has delivered over 50 million sq ft of projects’ space across distinct verticals like commercial, residential, recreational and hospitality to retail. Under his leadership ANJ has grown over 50 times and today has offices across four locations in India and is all set to extend its footprint globally with an office in Hong Kong. BRAND BUILDER Rohan Bulchandani is Co-Founder and President of The Annet Group and The Real Estate Management Institute (REMI), a global leader in providing technology, business process management, consulting and education solutions, with over 300 real estate clients globally. Founded in 1998, today his organisation employs 500+ individuals across its offices in USA, UK, UAE and India. Bulchandani is responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning, implementation and business development initiatives. He also oversees product and service development, customer service, quality process implementation and team building, supporting the leaders – domain experts – of each of the respective groups in their initiatives. The REMI is the most recent initiative launched by him with the vision to ‘Skill India to Build India’ to bridge the human capital gap and increase supply of trained professionals. ELEVATOR GURU An electrical engineering graduate with 20 years work experience in the lift industry, Dhimant Unadkat, is Head of Operations- India, for Soberman Engineering Company, a Vertical Transportation Consulting firm. He has held key management positions with Bharat Bijlee Ltd. (Olympus-Schindler), Otis Elevators Co (India) Ltd, Mumbai and Ojaco Engg. LLC, (Schindler Lifts) Abu Dhabi, UAE. From the last ten years he has been involved in designing, planning and executing vertical transportation needs for various SEZs, office buildings, shopping malls and tall residential buildings across India. He is instrumental in providing VT design for mega projects such as Mall of India, Noida which is the largest shopping mall in India and prestigious residential projects such as New Cuffe Parade at Wadala, Mumbai, Planet Godrej at Byculla, Mumbai to name a few.
