PROFILE EXECUTIVE CONNECT INNOVATIVE LEADER

Sunny Surlaker, Managing Director, Assess Build Chem Private Limited, brings with him a
wealth of global experience, having worked for over 18 years internationally in the field of
building chemicals across regions including the USA, Europe, Brazil, the Middle East, and
India. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Assess Build Chem Private Limited
and also the Director of the Institute for International Talent Development, a training and
development organization dedicated to advancing technical skills in the construction
industry. Sunny is a Fellow of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) and holds
active memberships with leading professional bodies such as ACI, the Institution of Engineers
(India), the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), the Indian Society of Structural Engineers (ISSE), and
the India Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.
Sunny served as the Past President of the India Chapter of ACI, a Managing Committee Member of ICI – Mumbai, and
also served as the Editor of Concrete India, the official journal of IC-ACI. In addition, he contributes to national committees
including those developing ICI Handbooks on Admixtures and Waterproofing and Concrete repairs. He was awarded with the
Chapter Activities Award by American Concrete Institute, USA. Sunny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from VJTI
Mumbai, and a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA.

INFRA MAN

Sunil S Nair, Chief Executive Officer, Ramky Infrastructure Limited, brings a wealth of
leadership experience, having held CEO and Managing Director (MD) roles in multiple
organizations, including Utico FZC, Litwin PEL, CAE, and Galfar Engineering. He successfully
turned around a company from near bankruptcy as the CEO (UAE, Oman, and Africa),
growing revenue from $10 million to $250 million, while maintaining healthy profit margins. His
diverse experience, combined with his global exposure, positions him exceptionally well to
lead Ramky Infrastructure into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Sunil is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Calicut University, holds a CFA certification,
and has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.

FUTURISTIC LEADER

Akshay Taneja, Managing Director, TDI Infratech, has been spearheading the team,
business, and vision of TDI Infratech and is responsible for the group’s strategic planning
and management. With his keen sense of decision making and inherent entrepreneurism,
he has been diversifying into the sectors of F&B and Hospitality as well as Education. As the
youngest member of CREDAI, Akshay is directly engaged in empowering middle-income
groups (MIGs) and endorsing affordable housing in India. A futuristic leader and confident
businessman, Akshay is taking TDI Infratech to new heights. According to him, it is not just
about building infrastructure but also about creating a sustainable environment to address
the ever changing consumer needs and rapid urbanization.
Akshay majored in Economics and Finance from the University of Manchester and is an
alumnus of Modern School, New Delhi.

Rohit Hegde, Managing Director, KSH INFRA, is a visionary leader with deep expertise in
