Anvar Jay Varadaraj, Executive Director, ELGi Equipments Limited, is part of the fourth generation
of the promoter group of ELGi. He is the eldest son of Dr. Jairam Varadaraj, Managing Director,
ELGi Equipments and Jaishree Varadaraj. In his first three years at ELGi India, Anvar built a
strong-robust marketing team to fulfill his strategic role. When he moved to ELGi uSA in 2018, he
expanded his wings to fully explore strategic opportunities across operations, supply chain and
customer service. In the coming years, he intends to create a pool of talented leaders within
the company with a sense of ownership.
He completed his schooling from the Kodaikanal International School in Dindigul district, Tamil
nadu. He later returned to the uS to pursue graduation in Economics and Philosophy, which
he followed up with an MBA in Marketing in 2011. Anvar started with ELGi in 2015, where he established ELGi’s marketing and
communications function and activities to build the ELGi brand. He moved to Charlotte, north Carolina, in 2018 to establish ELGi
north America’s marketing function. Anvar continues to mentor ELGi’s marketing organization while supporting the company’s
strategic, long-term goals.
ASTUTE LEADEr
Alfonso Martínez, Global business Head, Automotive and rail Verticals, QuEST Global, brings with
him myriad of useful industry experience acquired through his association with different industries
over a period of three decades. He has an in-depth understanding of automotive and railway
market and has successfully led numerous customer focused initiatives in the industry. With a
perfect blend of attributes like entrepreneurship, management and technology, Martínez, joins
QuEST from Capgemini, where he was the Executive Vice-President, Aeronautics Engineering and
R&D. Based out of Paris, at Capgemini Engineering, Martínez was responsible for the global P&L
for the entire Aerospace industry vertical.
After completing his Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from Polytechnic university of Madrid
and AMP in Management from IESE Business School - university of navarra, Barcelona, Martínez started his professional journey
in 1997 with his own venture - M/s MEDIA Consultores. In 2006, the company was strategically integrated with Altran, now a part
of Capgemini. Post the acquisition, Martínez assumed the key position of CEO - Altran Middle East, Director General-Altran Spain
and Chief Operating Officer of Altran, Spain. In 2018, Martínez moved to Paris as the Group Senior VP, Altran. In this role, he was in
charge of Aeronautics, Space, Defense, naval, Railways, Transportation, Life Sciences and Chemicals verticals globally with an
overall responsibility for 12,700 people and nearly $1B revenue.

Upagupta Patnaik, COO at Highbar Technocrat Limited, heads domestic and international
business development and solutions delivery in the private sector at Highbar Technocrat Limited.
With more than 20 years of experience in Design, Planning and Execution of EPC, Infrastructure,
and Real estate Industry he has led various IT implementation projects including 5-Dimensional
Digital Project Management Platform integrated with SAP implementation at Maha Metro, which
was a first in India. Patnaik has fifteen years of SAP (PS and Project management), IT Delivery, and
Consulting Experience across India, Middle east, and Europe
His expertise in project management, execution and on-time project delivery helped
enhance customer delight towards cementing long term relationships with clientele. As a top
management member in Highbar Technocrat Limited, he is additionally involved in the strategy matters of the company.

Shashank Vashistha, Executive Director, eXp realty India, designated as Managing Broker
joined eXp India with almost ten years of progressive experience in real estate. Shashank holds a
Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment and Sales and in his last role, delivered luxury homes
for India Sotheby’s International Realty. Prior to this he was worked with Cushman & Wakefield and
other leading real estate developers in Delhi. Possessing excellent communication, interpersonal
skills, collaborating with people across levels, training, negotiating, and learning are his core
strengths. His expertise is unparalleled when it comes to Real estate portfolio management,
Investment advisory and handling transactions for corporate, HnI’s & developers. Aside from real
estate, Shashank has keen interest in art and travel.
