Amarnath Ramachandran, President, LeeBoy India Construction Equipment Pvt Ltd, has been with the company since its inception in 2010 and has held a wide range of leadership positions including heading Product Engineering, IT and Business Development.  He has been responsible for leading the development of over 8 products in the short span of 5 years and has, of late, been steering the LeeBoy brand expansion into markets of the Middle East and Africa. He is a proven leader with rich technical and industry expertise and strategic clarity and possesses over 25 years of experience in two broad areas: full vehicle product engineering for the mining and defence sectors, which comprises drills, launching platforms and bridge layers. The other relates to application engineering and sales of aggregates – primarily drive-lines and control systems – from Walvoil, Danfoss, Dana Spicer and Kawasaki to major OEMs around the globe. Prior to joining LeeBoy, he was Managing Director, Walvoil Fluid Power India and General Manager, Operations at Dantal Hydraulics.




With an electrical engineering background Bharat Vishnani has spent over 30 years in the elevator industry in India and the Persian Gulf handling various operational functions. From 1982 to 2011, he worked at Otis Elevator Co. (India) Ltd. in various positions and departments, starting his career in field operations and then moving on to sales and marketing.  In 2010, he became the Director for Service Operations of Otis India. In 2011, Vishnani took on the assignment of Global Director, Sales & Marketing, ETA-MELCO, in Dubai, which is a JV company of Mitsubishi Electric for operations in the Gulf, CIS and the Indian Subcontinent. In 2012, he became the Deputy CEO of Mitsubishi Elevator in India. In May 2014, he took over as Managing Director of ThyssenKrupp Elevator (India) and is responsible for the organisation’s complete operations in India. In addition to this, he has also been appointed Managing Director of ThyssenKrupp Elevator Bangladesh with effect from July 2015. 




A mechanical engineer by profession Rajeev Kumar, CEO, Friends Equipment carries with him a vast experience of 20 years.  He has been in the construction equipment sector for the last 15 years during which time he has derived valuable experience of crawler cranes, truck cranes and tower cranes. He worked with some good construction equipment firms before starting his own Navi Mumbai based venture in 2012. He is currently regarded as one of the experts in construction equipment in India. Kumar also has a vast experience of providing after sales service and sales and marketing of construction equipment and has derived expertise from launching new products and technology. He has now taken up the challenging tasks of taking his company to the next level both in the domestic as well as international market. With the huge business opportunities being thrown up by the emerging market he has got his mind on plants for machine repair and maintenance not to mention JVs with firms manufacturing specialised equipment.



Anil Bhavnani, Executive Vice President & Head, Infrastructure Finance, HDFC Bank Ltd., has been a professional banker for more than 20 years. Prior to joining HDFC Bank he has worked with Citi Corp and GE Capital.  Bhavnani is credited with successfully changing the dimensions of lending at the bank with his vision of offering comprehensive banking solutions to construction and infrastructure segment customers. As an innovative banker he has been instrumental in creating a “Leadership” position for HDFC Bank with all Leading OEMs leading to awards like “Best Financier in Construction Equipment Finance Segment”.  This year he has been stewarding a slew of initiatives under the Bank's digital strategy, including a mobile application allowing customers to meet their shopping and payment requirements, preapproved credit line for existing infra customers etc.  Bhavnani believes the bank’s customer centric approach is in line with its philosophy of transforming itself into a digital bank and 'Bank Aapki Mutthi Mein' theme which offers both convenience and customisation.
