How has the Indian participation been in the past few years and what kind of turnout of overseas companies you expect this time?

The Big 5 Construct India is an annual marketplace for building and construction communities. Running in its 3rd annual edition, the event has been able to deliver business, strong content and networking opportunities to its participants, exhibitors and visitors alike. We are happy to inform you that response for 2015 edition has been very good. Positive trends in building and construction, infrastructure and general economic well-being has encouraged many businesses to look at promoting themselves in the market for better business opportunities. With the opening of our India offices and dedicated sales and marketing teams, we are looking at growing the show bigger in coming years as well.

What has been the business transacted at the exhibition in 2014? And how much business can be expected this year?

Our exhibitor survey indicates that about 81 per cent exhibitors have shown interest to rebook their stand for The Big 5 Construct India 2015. This itself is an indication of the value they could derive from the show. The overall responses from participants also indicate that 2014 edition was good in terms of business generation. This year, there are many new projects in the market and investments up to $1,000 billion for infrastructure sector have been projected in the 12th Five Year Plan (2012-17). The market definitely looks promising and there are loads of opportunities. We are hopeful that the show will deliver business and value to its participants.

Which are the prominent exhibiting segments represented at the exhibition this year? Who are the new foreign entrants showing interest in the India exhibition?

This year The Big 5 Construct India will witness exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Iran, Korea, Turkey, Greece, UK, China, Taiwan, Canada and Spain among others to showcase latest technology and trends. The event will witness major players representing building materials, steel, PEB, cement, concrete, plumbing, piping, doors, windows, stones, marbles and allied technologies.

What can the participants expect from the exhibition in comparison to the previous year?
