On the company’s grounding in the Indian real estate sphere: Since our inception into India’s urbane terrain, we have revolutionised the way living spaces are designed and transformed the ethos and aesthetics of real estate in India. Pillared by a unique approach to designing and planning, we invest heavily in research and development ensuring that each of our developments surpass industry benchmarks and redefine value engineering and design. Through environmentally friendly concepts of New Urbanism, our focus has been on transforming suburban sprawls of land into well-planned urban communities that nourish a fine sense of living. On ongoing and planned projects: In Chennai, we are focusing on the city’s first integrated, large scale community, a 120 acre mixed-use development at Egattur, OMR. It’s an ambitious mixed-use development community, which will be developed in subsequent phases. In Bangalore we are coming up with spacious apartments in Bannerghatta and an integrated community of architecturally exquisite villas, cottages and apartments in Devanahalli. The third landmark destination in Bengaluru is at Hebbal, with spacious residential apartments. In terms of projects in the pipeline, in Mumbai’s Chembur we are planning opulent residences which offer an elegant living experience with modern subsidiary infrastructure and excellent connectivity. The features include plush views of green landscapes in a serene setting, a club house, a state-of-the-art gymnasium and badminton and squash courts.

 

On best construction practices in your projects: To ensure that our real estate projects conserve energy, the external walls of our building are made using hollow blocks as they provide insulation against high day temperatures. We also aim to maximise the use of fly ash that is generated by coal-fired power plants in concrete, plastering and blocks works as it reduces the use of cement in construction. In any residential or commercial building, central air-conditioning and lighting up common areas consume a lot of energy that leads to wastage of natural resources. In order to make their optimum use, our projects are equipped with alternate sources of energy. Hybrid power systems comprising of wind mill and solar panels are installed and integrated in the electrical distribution system to ensure that there is minimal wastage.
