Dilip Buildcon Ltd bags two projects worth Rs. 2,612 cr


Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared L-1 bidder by the U.P Expressways Industrial Development Authority for two projects viz. ‘Development of Bundelkhand Expressway Project (Package-VI) From Bakhariya (Dist. Auraiya) to Kudrail (Dist. Etawah) and Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project (Package II) From Fulwariya (Dist. Ambedkar Nagar) to Salarpur (Dist. Azamgarh) in the state of Uttar Pradesh on EPC Basis. The details of projects are:


Development of Bundelkhand Expressway Project (Package VI) From Bakhariya (Dist. Auraiya) to Kudrail (Dist. Etawah) (Km 250+000 to Km 295+280) Access Controlled (Greenfield) Expressway Project in the state of Uttar Pradesh on EPC Basis. The length of the project is 45.280 Km and bid project cost is Rs.1362.06 crore. The completion period is 36 months.


Development of Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project (Package II) From Fulwariya (Dist. Ambedkar Nagar) to Salarpur (Dist. Azamgarh) From Km 47+500 to Km 90+535 and is fully access conholled 4-lane (expandable to 6 lanes) divided carriageway in the State of Uttar Pradesh on EPC Basis. The length of the project is 43.035 Km and bid project cost is Rs. 1250.01 crore. The completion period is 36 months.

L&T bags Rs. 2,000 cr orders


L&T has bagged add-on orders for some of its existing projects in the heavy civil infrastructure and metallurgy and material handling space. The orders worth Rs. 1,000 crore - 2,500 crore . The company’s water and effluent treatment business has secured an engineering, procurement and construction order from the West Bengal PHED, funded by (ADB) for construction, operation and maintenance of a project in the Nandigram-I and Nandigram-II blocks of East Medinipur, West Bengal. The project aims to provide continuous water supply to the Nandigram area and will involve automation system that will limit water losses in the system to desired levels.

Madhav Infra bags  Rs. 161.26 cr orders


Madhav Infra Projects has secured new orders for road and solar project in Maharashtra.


The company said that it has received Letter of Acceptance “(LOA”) from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Konkan) & Project Director (EAP) Konkan, Mumbai (A Government of Maharashtra) for the following road project/work for a negotiated contract value of Rs. 161.26 crores. Improvement of Chandur Railway Telegaon Road SH-297 (Section Chandur Railway to Telegaon), km 32/200 to km 49/155, Tal. Chandur Railway, Dist. Amravati. The length of the project is 15.075 km. Improvement of Riddhapur Tilwsa Road SH - 300 (Section Riddhapur to Tiwsa) km 0/000 to km 40/800, Taluka Morshil & Tiwsa, Dist. Amravati. The length of the project is 40.800 km. The construction period for the above projects is 24 months.


The company has also received Letter of Award (“LOA”) from Energy Efficiency Services Limited (“EESL”) (a JV of PSUs under the Ministry of Power) for solar power generation project for a contract value of Rs.  96.39 crores. The order is for Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing, Commissioning and O&M of 100 MW of Solar Power Generating System, ranging from 1 MW to 2 MW at various sub-stations / locations in Maharashtra. The O&M contract period is for 25 years. The project cost is Rs. 96.39 crores.

ARSS JV bags Rs. 220.65 cr work orders


ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd has secured two work orders of Rs. 2,20,65,46,359.96, for the work of construction of roadbed, major and minor bridges, etc works in connection with doubling work from Mau (excluding) km 0.00 to Azamgarh (including) km 43.50 total 43.50 kms package - A1 in connection with Mau-Shahganj 2nd line project in the state of Uttar Pradesh. 


The above orders have been awarded in favour of one of ARSS JV named “ARSS-SCPL(JV)” by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited in November.

L&T bags Rs. 2,500 cr orders in Maharashtra, Odisha


Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won major orders in Maharashtra and Odisha. Total value of the major contracts fall in the range of Rs. 1,000 crore - Rs. 2,500 crore.


It said an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) order has been bagged for the Gunjawani project piped distribution network, including the Narayanpur Lift Irrigation Scheme from Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation-WRD, Pune.


The scope includes survey, investigation, design, procurement and construction, it has also been mandated to prepare all the relevant documents to form a water user association for the command area, to build the capacity of farmers to attain the maximum crop yield, by conducting farmers’ awareness training programmes for the effective functioning of the scheme.


The project envisages to irrigate 21,392 hectares of culturable command area (CCA) in Taluka Velhe, Bhor, and Purandar, of the Pune district, by drawing water from the Gunjawani Dam.


The company has secured another EPC order from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department in Odisha to execute two individual rural-piped water supply projects in the Jharsuguda district.


Scope of work includes design and construction of two intake structures, two water treatment plants, 1,745 km of transmission and distribution lines, 58 overhead service reservoirs, nine booster pumping stations and associated electromechanical and instrumentation works. The projects will cater drinking water to 273 villages in the Jharsuguda district. L&T also got an order from Tamil Nadu for construction of a 30.53 million-litres-a-day sewage treatment plant on the EPC basis. Additionally, the business has also received add-on orders for some of its existing projects across various states.

J Kumar Infraprojects bags Rs. 324 cr MMRDA order


The company has won an order from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for part design and construction of elevated viaduct and 2 elevated stations. The company has won an order from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for part design and construction of elevated viaduct and 2 elevated stations. The order is worth Rs. 342 cr. The contract, MMRDA/MMRP/MLA4A/CA54: Part Design and Construction of Elevated Viaduct and 2 Elevated Stations viz Gowniwada and Gaimukh of Line 4 Extension (Kasarvadavali to Gaimukh Corridor) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA for Rs. 342 cr, according to a company note.

Pennar bags Rs. 304 cr orders


Pennar Industries has bagged orders worth Rs.304 crore across business verticals during September 2019. The Pre-Engineered Building division received orders for construction of warehouses and factory buildings from Wipro Personal Care, Phoenix IVY, Specialised Anila Foods and SS Developers. The order book position for Pre-engineered buildings business unit stands at Rs. 430 crores. The Railways vertical received orders from Integrated Coach Factory, Tube Investments, Universal Engineering and RITES. Order book position for the Railways business unit is at Rs. 250 crores.The Steel Business vertical has received orders from Thermax, Sterling LGB, IFB and Toshiba. The Industrial Components vertical received orders from Emerson, Endurance, Tecumseh, Bailey and BEML.


The Tubes vertical has received orders from ALF Engineering, GI Auto, Patton International TTP Technologies, VE Commercial Vehicles and Thermax.


The Enviro division received new orders from JSW Steel, Aurobindo Pharma CINDA Engineering & Construction and for a demineralization plant, potable water package and wastewater treatment.

ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd has announced a work order of Rs. 60,57,83,411  for ‘Construction of two major bridges, No.611(Span 8x30.5m CG) at Km 344.87 in Rayagada- Ladda Section and No.624 (Span 2x18.30m CG + 1x12.20m CG) at km 352.03 in Ladda- Jimdipeta section and other Bridge works in connection with 3rd line between Rayagada (excl.) (km: 343.90) to Jimidipeta (excl.) (km: 356.518) (Package-5A) on Waltair Division of East Coast Railway in Odisha State, has been awarded in favour of ARSS JV ‘ARSS-ROYAL(JV)’ by Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.

Ravindra Energy Ltd bags Rs. 565.98 cr contract 


Ravindra Energy Ltd bags contractfrom Office of the Chief Engineer, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Mumbai, Mahavitaran, vide its Letter of Empanelment (LOE) dated September 18, 2019, has awarded the ‘Empanelment and Rate Contract’, covering Design, Manufacture, Supply, Transport, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems at the project sites of identified farmers in the State of Maharashtra with comprehensive maintenance contract for 5 years on a single point responsibility, ‘Turnkey Contract’ under the Mukhyamantri Sour Krishi Pump Yojna Scheme for a quantity of 30,600 pumps. Accordingly, the total amount of revenue that would be generated from the above projects aggregates to Rs. 565.98 crores. However the quantity & value indicated above are tentative and liable to change as per site conditions and consumer requirement.

Surya Roshni Ltd has obtained order aggregating to Rs. 79.80 crore (GST extra) for design, manufacture supply, warranty of LED Bulbs and other related works from Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) on Pan India basis through competitive e-bidding.

NHAI LOA of Rs. 1062 cr to PNC Infratech


PNC Infratech Limited has received Letter of Award (LOA) from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for “Construction of NH-56, 4-lane bypass connecting NH-56 at Km. 17+400 and terminating near Behta Village Road (bypass Chainage from km 0.00 to km 32.000/31.489 average length 31.745 km) in the state of Uttar Pradesh under NHDP phase -VII in EPC mode (Package-I)” for a contract value of ` 1062.0 crore, in October. Price bids for the project were opened in August and PNC emerged as L1. Construction of this project is to be completed in 36 months.

NBCC signs Rs. 390 cr MoU


NBCC (India) has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in September for the construction of various infrastructure buildings in the existing campus of the University at Bhubneswar and new campus at Chandikhol, Odisha. The approximate cost of work would be Rs.390 cr.

Steel Strips Wheels Limited (SSWL) has received exports order for market in the western hemisphere. The orders would be executed over a period of 12 months with supplies beginning this month from Chennai plant. This additional business will ensure continuation of 100 percent utilization of Chennai plant.

BEML bags Delhi Metro orders


BEML has bagged further orders in Metro from M/s Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) for ‘RS15’ - design, manufacture, supply, testing and Commissioning of 80 nos. broad gauge intermediate cars compatible with existing ‘RS1’ type trains for conversion of 6-car train set to 8-car train set valued at Rs. 729 crore.
