DILIP BUILDCON HAS BAGGED ROAD PROJECT FROM NHAI

Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has bagged a road project worth Rs.1,004 crore in Madhya Pradesh from NHAI.

DBL has been declared L-1 bidder by the National Highways Authority of India for a new hybrid annuity project valued at Rs.1,004 crore in Madhya Pradesh

The project is for construction of road tunnel, viaduct and churhat bypass of RewaSidhi section of NH-75E from chainage 33.2 to chainage 55.4 as cement concrete pavement configuration in Madhya Pradesh.

LARSEN & TOUBRO ARM HAS BAGGED ORDER FOR EASTERN DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDOR

Engineering major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged an order of Rs.2,864 crore from the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL) for Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor.

The order involves construction of 222 route kilometer of a single-track corridor from Khurja to Pilkhani in Uttar Pradesh. The project will be funded by World Bank (WB) and is a part of the 1,856 km Eastern Corridor proposed between Ludhiana (Punjab) and Dankuni (West Bengal).

BHEL BAGS THERMAL POWER PLANT CONTRACT IN RAMGARH

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has won  Rs.117-billion order for setting up a 3x800 Mw thermal power plant in Jharkhand. The order for setting up the 3x800 MW Patratu Super Thermal Power Station Expansion, Phase-I (3x 800 MW) has been placed on BHEL by Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (PVUNL - a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd in joint venture with Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd),

SADBHAV INFRA WINS HIGHWAY PROJECT IN KARNATAKA

The project pertains to widening of Tumkur-Shivamogga on NH 206 under National Highways Development Project phase IV. The project has to be completed in a period of 2 years.

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd (IRB), India’s leading and the largest highways infrastructure developers bagged its third successive project from NHAI under Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) in the state of Gujarat.

The Company emerged as a preferred bidder for construction of eight lanes on the Vadodara – Mumbai Expressway in the Gujarat, on the stretch having length of 23.740 Kms at the cost of Rs.2,043 Crs.

Key highlights of the Projects are as under:

  • The project is in Gujarat for eight laning of stretch of 23.740 Kms on Vadodara – Mumbai Expressway, between Padra and Vadodara, with cost outlay of Rs.2043 Crs.
  • The concession will comprise 730 days for construction and 15 years Operations & Maintenance rights thereafter.

BHEL SECURES NEW ORDER FROM NPCIL

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged an order worth Rs.736 crore for supply of steam generators from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL).

The steam generators will be used for a 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) to be installed at Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojna (GHAVP) in Fatehabad district of Haryana. The steam generators will be manufactured at the Tiruchirappalli plant of BHEL.

MMRDA APPOINTS CONTRACTORS FOR METRO2B, METRO 4 WORKS

Contracts for works of over Rs.250 billion on upcoming metro lines in the Mumbai metropolitan region were awarded by the MMRDA .The Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure and Tata Project were among the firms that emerged winners.The executive committee of the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) which met today appointed contractors to construct elevated viaduct and stations on two metro corridors, an official statement said.

The works awarded include Rs.109 billion worth of contracts on the Metro 2B corridor that will connect D N Nagar in the north west suburb of Andheri with Mandale in the north east, and Rs.145 billion for the north-south Metro-4 corridor which will run between Kasarwadavali in Thane and Wadala, A consortium of Reliance Infrastructure and ASTALDI was awarded the Rs.5.4 billion 'package-8' on the Metro-4 corridor which consists of Bhakti Park, Wadala TT, Anik Nagar Bus Depot, Suman Nagar, Siddharth Colony and Amar Mahal junction stations, it said.The same consortium also won the Rs.5.31-billion 'package 12', comprising Kapurbawdi, Manpada, Tikuji-ni-wadi, Dongripada, Vijay Garden and Kasarvadavali stations. A consortium of Tata Project and China Harbour Engineering won the Rs.53.2 billion 'package 9' for seven stations on the same line.

LARSEN & TOUBRO BAGS SHIVAJI STATUE CONTRACT

Larsen & Toubro bags Shivaji statue contract for Rs.2,500 crore to construct the 210-metre-high statue of the Maratha warrior king Shivaji. The project, to be built on 6.8 hectares of reclaimed land in the middle of the Arabian Sea off the Malabar Hill in South Mumbai. The Shivaji memorial will have a temple, museum, hospital, entrance modeled on the Raigad Fort, which was the headquarters of the late emperor, and a theatre showcasing highlights of the Maratha warrior king's life. Another major feature is a lift that will take visitors right up to 180 metres or 60 floors inside the memorial, giving them a view from such height.

LTSHF GETS NEW ORDER FROM NPCIL

L&T Special Steels and Heavy Forgings Pvt Ltd (LTSHF), a joint venture of Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL has bagged an order worth Rs.442 crore from NPCIL to supply forgings for steam generators. The  forgings will be used in the manufacture of the critical equipment for six new indigenous 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWRs). This requirement is part of the Government of India’s ambitious plan to put up 10 PHWR units.

L&T's CONSTRUCTION ARM WINS ORDERS

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) construction arm has won orders worth Rs.1,593 crore across business segments.

L&T water and effluent treatment business has bagged order an worth Rs.1,058 crore. An EPC order has been secured from Udaipur Smart City Limited. Another order has been secured from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, Odisha. The company has also secured an order from the Dholera Industrial City Development Ltd, The company's buildings and factories business won orders worth Rs.535 crore from a reputed IT major for construction of an IT park in Hyderabad.

L&T CONSTRUCTION ARM BAGS ORDERS

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) construction arm has won orders worth Rs.2,597 crore across business segments.

L&T,transportation infrastructure business has secured an order worth Rs.1,047 crore.

The  order is for the construction of the 8.7 Km long Dwarka Expressway in Haryana in EPC mode from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

L&T Construction's water and effluent treatment business has bagged an order worth Rs.949 crore and its buildings and factories business has won an order worth Rs.601 crore.

ROLTA BAGS ORDERS FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Rolta India Ltd, a leading provider of innovative IP-led IT solutions it has bagged contracts worth Rs.365 crore from varied industries for their digital transformation.

One of India’s largest energy conglomerate, a dominant power major with presence in the entire value chain of the power generation, has contracted the company for their ambitious program to establish and manage their next generation paperless office as part of the Digital India initiative.

In the Telecom sector, Rolta recently won a large project for a modern network management and analytics system for a fibre optic network spanning over 57,000 Kms.

In the transportation segment, a premier Shipping Transport Agency in India selected Rolta to drive their digital transformation for all their organizational functions related to shipping, operations & maintenance and governance while also providing deep cross-functional analytical insights and decision support by leveraging ‘Rolta OneView’.

Under the Smart Cities Program of Government India, Rolta  has been awarded a contract as a consortium partner to transform one of the oldest living cities in India into a ‘Smart City’.

L&T TO BUILD DWARKA E-WAY PROJECT FROM NHAI

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded  L&T one of the five packages of Rs.75 billion Dwarka Expressway project in Haryana under the Bharatmala project.

The package to build eight-lane expressway from Basai  RoB to NH 8 - SPR intersection in Haryana will be executed at a cost of Rs.10.47 billion under EPC (engineering, construction and procurement) mode.

The completion period of the project is two years with maintenance period of four years. Under the project, a minor bridge will be widened, additional ROBs, five VUP (vehicle underpass), six Bus Bays with Bus Shelter will be erected and four Junction Improvements will be carried out.

DILIP BUILDCON BAGS ROAD PROJECT FROM NHAI

Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has bagged a road project worth Rs.770.04 crore in Uttar Pradesh from NHAI.

The project is for rehabilitation and upgradation of two-lane to four-lane of national highway stretch Dagamagpur-Lalganj section of NH-7. The project has to completed in a period 30 months.

SIEMENS BAGGED CONTRACT FOR GUJARAT METRO LINK EXPRESS

Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd has awarded an order of approximately Rs.579 crore to the consortium of Siemens Ltd India and Siemens AG, Germany for electrification of the 39.2-kilometer Metro Express Link in Ahmedabad, Siemens will be responsible for complete electrification of the new double-track metro line. Siemens will also provide a SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system for monitoring and controlling the traction power.

KEC INTERNATIONAL BAGS ORDER

KEC International has won  orders worth of Rs.1,378 crore across all business verticals.

The company's transmission and distribution business has got orders worth Rs.786 crore across India, Middle East and SAARC. Its railway business has secured four orders for composite and overhead electrification works aggregating to Rs.473 crore across India. The cable business won various orders worth Rs.78 crore while its civil business has received an order of Rs.41 crore.

GENUS POWER INFRA BAGS NEW ORDER IN JHARKHAND

Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd (GPIL), part of the $300 million Kailash group won an order worth approximately Rs.54 crore from Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd (JBVNL).

The order is for supply, installation, commissioning, data collection, report generation and annual maintenance contract for 5 years of ~10,000 Distribution Transformer Meters with an inbuilt CT & Modem feature.
