Detail us on your new launches at Excon

We have launched iFit, the gearmotors ready to fit your needs! iFit is the innovative, international and interchangeable helical in-line gearmotors, designed for a world in motion and available with ioT based smart inverter dDrive. iFit is a high-performance gearmotor that can be easily integrated with any industrial machinery, without redesigning costs. iFit has more torque capacity in the given envelop against most competing products


Detail us on your manufacturing facilities.

We have a state-of-the-art assembly facility at Coimbatore. Demand for our products is going up and hence we have doubled our capacity. We assemble than 80 to 85% of our global product range in India.


What are the USP’s of your products

Rossi offers products which are highest in power density i.e., power to weight ratio. Our products offer higher torque in given envelop size. The materials we use are best in class.  The technical superiority is unmatched. We are also focusing on improving localization and global sourcing.


Your strategy in a price sensitive market

Yes, India is a very price sensitive market. We have already localised around 30% of the total material that we use and that keeps us competitive. Being a European company with high end products, we are not expected to sell our products at local company prices and our customers recognize this. We have seen that, over the years, the market has moved towards better quality products and that is where we pitch in. We see customers paying us premium over most competitors due to better product performance.


Gives us details on the warranty you provide for your products

Rossi is perhaps the only company present in the Indian market that gives up to 3 years warranty for its products and this is an additional USP for our products.


Provide us details on your after sales services

We have a complete network all over India of our sales and systems service people and we have also tied up with local partners Pan India to take care of after sales service. Earlier customers had to send our product to our factory at Coimbatore but now our people reach out to them and service their requirements.  We also stock all components and ship to our customer location.


Going forward which would be the growth drivers for your company

We see lot of opportunities in metal & material mining industry. Also, we feel that the distribution business is a big opportunity for us as the customers need us close by and we could do this through our channel partners.


Your feedback on Excon

Excon has been growing bigger each time and Footfall has been improving, but the organizers need to improve the infrastructure and facilities by providing proper walkways, parking facilities that are mandatory while hosting an international exhibition. We are not even close to being an international event. An exhibition of this level could have been handled in a better way. Many of our customers couldn’t even enter the exhibition ground due to non-availability of parking and the mud that jammed the whole outdoor premise due to rains. We expect a better value for our money and time that we spend in EXCON.
