Shuichi Ito, Managing Director, Toshiba India Pvt. Ltd, will lead TIPL to the path of next level of growth across group’s energy and social infrastructure businesses in the country. A law graduate from Kyushu University of Japan, Ito comes with almost three decades of strong and diverse experience in Toshiba’s international energy business. Across his 30-years tenure with Toshiba, Ito has held various leadership roles in international operations, business development, sales, and other commercial functions in the energy infrastructure business field across Asia and South America. His first association with India dates back to the start of his career. In 1991, as part of the South Asia Group of Overseas Energy Division, he closely worked on a thermal power project in the state of Uttar Pradesh and supplied power transmission and distribution products to a major power company in India. Later in 2016, he was appointed as the Director – Sales at Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. where he worked on sales expansion in and outside India.





Sovan Mandal, Chief Executive Officer, Valocity India, brings over 20 years’ experience in financial services in India and abroad. Prior to joining Valocity, he was Chief Business Officer at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC). As the founding member of IMGC, Sovan was instrumental in organization building and establishing Mortgage Guarantee as a new product in India. Sovan brings experience of growing and scaling teams, and innovating products and services across Retail Finance, Credit Cards, and the Mortgage industries to deliver enduring customer success. Valocity is a FinTech company that digitises the entire property valuation process with its unique Microsoft cloud-based valuation platform, delivering end to end solutions for both residential and commercial lending.






Arun Misra, CEO & Whole Time Director, Hindustan Zinc Limited, started his career with Tata Steel as Maintenance Head (Electrical), West Bokaro Coal Washery in July 1988. He brings 32 years of rich & diverse experience in leading various strategic positions within Tata Steel. In his last assignment at Tata Steel, Arun was working as Vice President — Raw Materials Division. During his tenure at Tata Steel, he led important and crucial portfolios like Plant Operations, Mining Operations, and Safety & Project Management. In addition, Arun is the Vice President of Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers and has published several papers in their nationally reputed journals. Arun was awarded as ‘CEO of the Year’ and Hindustan Zinc as ‘Most Innovative Company of the Year’ by Business Leader of the Year awards.

He has done his bachelors in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur, Diploma in Mining and Beneficiation from University of New South Wales Sydney and Diploma in General Management from CEDEP, France. He possesses knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma, TPM and Malcolm Baldridge Model. He is passionate about singing, playing golf and football.




Paul Baxter, Chief Executive Officer for Asia, UNISPACE, will spearhead the global workplace company’s plans to expand its footprint and seize the momentum in transforming workplace across Asia. In his new role, Baxter will be instrumental in delivering Unispace’s future ambitions across Asia, following the company’s acquisition by leading private investment firm PAG earlier in the year. Based in Singapore, Baxter brings significant experience in commercial and corporate real estate, and will build on Unispace’s reputation for quality construction, exceptional interior design, and intelligence-led workplace strategy. Baxter is joining Unispace with an extensive background in portfolio management, workplace solutions, asset management, tenant advisory, along with a deep understanding of the Asia Pacific region built throughout his career across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. Baxter was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific at Colliers. Prior to that, he had been the Executive Director of Global Corporate Services at CBRE in Japan.

In his career, Baxter has worked with many of the world’s leading investment and occupier organisations, including Nissan Motor Company, Toshiba, Google, Mitsubishi Estate Corp., AMP, GE Capital, Deutsche Bank and ICAP.
