ITD Cementation India has bagged new orders aggregating to Rs.950cr in various businesses.

The details of the orders are:

  • Provision of Infrastructure works consisting of Roads & Bridges, Drains, Water Supply, Sewerage, Slope Protection, Waste Management, Power System including Water and Sewage Treatment Plants including operation and maintenance of selected facilities during Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Period(s) from Government of India – Value Rs.898cr.
  • Piling and Ground Improvement work at Paradip from Technip – Value Rs.52cr.

Power Mech Projects bags orders worth Rs.734 crore

Power Mech Projects t has received orders worth Rs.734 crore. It has won anorder worth Rs.401 crore for operation and maintenance of boilers & auxiliaries and other miscellaneous jobs of 4 x 660 MW, Thermal Power Plant of Vedanta Limited, Jharsuguda.

The company has also won another order of Rs.198 crore for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) works for Kurmitar Iron Ore Mining Private Limited, Odisha. The company has won another order worth Rs.135 crore for all civil, architectural and structural works of the main plant for 2X660 MW Khurja STPP (Turbine Generator and Associated Packages) for BHEL at Khurja, Uttar Pradesh.

Surya Roshni bags Rs.299 crore order for supply of carbon steel line pipes to Numaligarh Refinery

Lighting and steel pipe products maker Surya Roshni has bagged an order worth Rs.299 crore for supply of carbon steel line pipes to Numaligarh Refinery Ltd for Paradip Numaligarh Crude Oil Pipeline project in Odisha.

The order is to be executed within 15 months, it added.

L&T bags construction order from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation

Infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) construction arm has bagged an up to Rs.5,000 crore contract from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation. to construct nearly 12 km twin bored tunnels from Kellys station to Taramani Road Junction station. L&T has also secured another order from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation to construct approx 8 Km of elevated Viaduct with 9 elevated metro stations starting from Power House to Porur Junction including other associated works. These projects are the first packages of phase - II which have been awarded by Chennai Metro Rail.

National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has bagged an work order for Comprehensive design, engineering and project management consultancy (PMC) services for construction & development of infrastructural facilities in the main campus of National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand at Sumari (Pauri Garhwal). NBCC is the Project Management Consultant for this project of the value Rs.597 cr.

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group Company, has secured new orders of Rs.1,514 crores across its various businesses:

The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has secured orders of Rs.326 crores for T&D projects in India and the Americas.

The Civil business has secured orders of Rs.1,035 crores for the construction of elevated viaduct along with stations for a metro project and for mechanical & civil works in two cement plants.

The Railways business has secured orders of Rs.446 crores in technologically enabled / conventional segments in India:

Tata Projects secures Rs.2,000 crore order from Chennai Metro

Tata Projects has won an order from the Chennai Metro Rail to build a nine-kilometre underground stretch with four stations for an estimated cost of Rs.1,999 crore. The project is part of the phase 2/corridor 3 of the Chennai metro and falls between Venugopal Nagar and Kellys Station. The work involves construction of the nine-kilometre twin bored tunnels, totalling 18 kilometres, from Venugopal Nagar to Kellys Station. The work has to be completed in four years. It also involves construction of the diaphragm walls of the station box and entry/exit structures of the Madhavaram Milk Colony, Murari Hospital, Ayanavaram and Purasaiwakkam High Road stations, including launching and retrieval shafts as required at these stations.

HCC-KEC JV wins Rs.1,147 crore Chennai Metro order

Hindustan Construction Company Ltd. (HCC), in a joint venture with KEC International Limited (KEC), has been awarded Rs.1,147 crore contract by Chennai Metro Rail Limited for the construction of 7.95 km elevated viaduct section and nine elevated stations on Corridor 4 of phase II of the Chennai Metro.

The scope of work involves civil works, architectural works, plumbing & drainage and temporary services as per the client’s drawings. The nine elevated stations include Chennai Bypass Crossing, Ramachandra Hospital, Iyyapanthangal Bus Depot, Katupakkam, Kumanan Chavadi, Karayan Chavadi, Mullai Thottam, Poonamallee Bus Terminus, Poonamallee Bypass. The work is to be completed in 36 months.

L&T Construction Awarded (*Large) Contracts for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business

The construction arm of L&T has secured large orders from a prestigious Client for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure business in India.

The Business has secured an order from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (CMRL) to construct nearly Twelve (12) km Twin Bored tunnels from Kellys station to Taramani Road Junction station. It also involves construction of diaphragm walls of station box and entry / exit structures of Chetpet Metro, Royapettah Govt. Hospital, Thiruvanmiyur Metro Stations and part diaphragm wall of Greenways Road Metro Station, including launching and retrieval shafts in these stations. This underground Metro Rail tunnel package is a part of Corridor 3 of CMRL Phase-II Metro Rail Project and is to be constructed in approximately 52 months by using eight tunnel boring machines working simultaneously in various stretches of the project.The Business has also secured another order from Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (CMRL) to construct approx 8 Km of elevated Viaduct with 9 elevated Metro Stations starting from Power House to Porur Junction including other associated works. The elevated corridor includes approx. 4 km of double deck construction in which both the decks are used for Metro Rail, which will be the first of its kind in India. This elevated Metro Rail package is a part of Corridor 4 of CMRL Phase-II Metro Rail Project and is to be constructed in 36 Months. These projects are the first packages of Phase – II which have been awarded by Chennai Metro Rail. Both the projects were bagged under stiff competition from domestic and international metro construction players.

Salasar Techno Engineering bags orders worth Rs.238 crore from PGCIL

Construction of power transmission line network and sub stations in Arunachal Pradesh.“Salasar has been awarded a project of Rs.238.65 crore by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd a BSE filing said. The PGCIL, vide their letter dated 22nd May 2021, has awarded to the company power projects which include construction of 201 Km Transmission line Network and construction ol 4 new power substations in the north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The transmission line network will be of 132KV type and the substations will be of the extra high voltage capacity. The Estimated cost of the work allocated to Salasar is Rs.238.65 crore (Excluding GST of 18 per cent) and involves supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of transmission towers and substations.

Tata Power Solar Bags EPC Contract from NHPC

NHPC Limited has awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to Tata Power Solar Systems to develop a 40 MW solar project in the Ganjam district of Odisha. As per the BSE filing, the total estimated value of the contract is Rs.1.88 billion (~$25.76 million).

As per the contract, the project will be set up on government land acquired by NHPC through the state agency Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation, along with the associated 220 kV transmission line for connectivity work at 220 kV transmission system at loop-in-loop-out provision. The contract will also include the operation and maintenance activities of the project for ten years.

NHPC had invited bids from EPC contractors for the 40 MW solar power project in July last year. The project was to be developed at Landeihil village in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

Grid Corporation of Odisha will procure the power generated from the project for 25 years – the entire lifecycle of the project.
