Vinod Sahay, Chief Executive Officer, Trucks and Bus and Construction Equipment Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has completed his MBA from Symbiosis, Pune. He also has a Fulbright CII Fellowship from Institute of International Education – New York. He brings with him a varied experience of 19 years across various functions and businesses of Commercial Vehicles, Two Wheelers, and Passenger Vehicles. Vinod joined M&M in July 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd.

He was designated as Chief Executive Officer for the Truck & Bus business in May- 2016. He was also appointed as a member of the Board of Peugeot Scooters. Vinod is known for making correct and timely decisions. He always has a plan in place and believes in keeping an open door policy.




Multitasking Head

Miron Thoms, Vice President & Head of Volvo Penta India, studied mechanical engineering and business administration in a combined degree program, in Germany and Poland. He joined Volvo Group in 2008, working in different countries before becoming Volvo Penta’s Project and Business Development Manager in 2009, where he was responsible for off highway emission regulations Stage IIIb/ Tier 4 interim, and Stage IV/ Tier 4 Final, in Central and East Europe. At end 2012 he relocated from Sweden to Germany to open up a new office in Munich for Volvo Penta as Head of the Industrial Engine Segment in Germany and Switzerland. Miron has taken over his new position in India since November 1st, 2017. In his current role, he is responsible for strengthening Volvo Penta’s ambitions to grow in India, along with heading overall financial and operational management of the company. He is also Site Manager for Volvo Penta Global Purchasing Team in India and a Member of the Country Management Team of Volvo Group India Pvt. Ltd.




Master Strategist

Amit Bansal, Director - Sales and Marketing - India region, BCP Division, Caterpillar India Pvt Ltd, has clocked over 20 years of experience in Construction Equipment industry. He is responsible for meeting and exceeding business targets of the Building Construction Products (BCP) division of Caterpillar in the region. He is also responsible for executing the division’s strategy for the country in terms of managing product portfolio and growing retail outreach.

He has been instrumental in growing Caterpillar’s market share and reach of Backhoe Loaders, Wheel Loaders, and Skid Steer Loaders, in the region. He is a BE Mech, MITS Gwalior, and MBA, University of Pune.




Deepak Garg, Director & CEO, Sany South Asia & Sany Heavy Industry India, has a rich experience of 25 years in manufacturing and construction equipment sector. Prior to joining Sany, he headed supply chain management at a leading construction equipment manufacturing company. His responsibilities included strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, and purchasing and vendor development. As a veteran in the construction equipment industry, he has worked in various capacities and holds an expertise in various aspects of manufacturing and nuances of the construction equipment segment.

He is a PGDM, Marketing & Finance, XLRI Jamshedpur, and BE Mech. LD College of Engineering, Ahmedabad.
