Contracts Awarded

Value Rs.1,150 cr.


L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd (LTHE), has won an offshore contract from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) valued at Rs.1,150 crore, for transportation and installation of the Daman Development Project, on an EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning) basis. The project is part of ONGC’s strategy to extract gas from the Daman field located in the south-western part of the Tapti-Daman block in Mumbai offshore, 160-200 km North-West of Mumbai city and 160 km West of Daman.



Value Rs.5,054.69 cr.


PSP Projects Ltd has received work orders adding up to Rs.5,054.69 million, from various clients for industrial and institutional projects. Orders include; Rs.1,305-million design and build contract for building at GIFT city, Gandhinagar, from Dalal Street Commercial Cooperative Society Ltd; a Rs.409.41 million from Bharatiya Janata Party for interior works at its Kendriya Karyalaya BJP headquarters, New Delhi; Rs.728 million project from Mandya District Co-operative Milk Producers Society Union Ltd for civil and construction works for dairy plant, UTH plant, power plant, and other ancillary works; a Rs.2,250 million order from Zydus Medical College and Hospital (a division of Ramanbhai Foundation) for constructing of Zydus Medical College and Hospital at Dahod, Gujarat.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) secured new orders aggregating approximately Rs.555.77 crore for construction of institutional, residential building/commercial, including electrical, plumbing, and firefighting services. The first order worth Rs.255 crore is for redevelopment pool of residential colony at Mohammadpur, New Delhi. The second order worth Rs.173 crore is for construction of Bennett University at Greater Noida, while another order worth Rs.127.77 crore is for other construction work. The company is currently L1 in projects valued approximately Rs.486 crore, and projects bided under pipeline are in the tune of Rs 1,800 crore. The total order inflow during the FY 2017- 2018 stands at Rs.555.77 crore.



Value Rs.349 cr.


Engineering company Shriram EPC has won multiple orders amounting to Rs.349 crore. The first order amounting to Rs.311 crore is from the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd for improvement of water supply system in Gaya Municipal Corporation. The Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded project is to be executed over a period of 42 months, with operations and maintenance period of three years. The second order valued at Rs.38 crore is from the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Ltd, comprising construction of pipeline, overhead tank, and distribution network of 24/7 water supply system at Byadgi, along with operations and maintenance. The project is funded by ADB and is to be executed over a period of 24 months, while the O&M component extends up to eight years post completion.

NBCC (India) has awarded contract worth Rs.1,949 crore for construction of multi-storey commercial space at GPRA Colony, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi, on EPC basis to NCC Ltd (NCC - State Construction Integrated Works (SCIW) of Ukraine), to be completed in two years. NBCC will get project management consultancy fee on the project cost at 8 per cent and revenue booking from the project was scheduled to start from October.

Ducon Technologies India (DTIPL), a Ducon Inc. group company, has secured three electrification work projects in Madhya Pradesh, valued at approximately Rs.50 crore. These are turn key projects for strengthening of sub-transmission and distribution networks of three districts in Madhya Pradesh. Project involves, feeder separation, setting up of new sub-stations, augmentation of existing sub-stations etc, under the Integrated Power Distribution Scheme (IPDS). Ducon has already been executing similar projects in two MP state districts.

KEC International has won new orders worth Rs.1,024 crore, comprising orders worth Rs.610 crore of T&D business, and Rs.245 crore orders of cable business. Its railways, civil and solar businesses bagged orders worth Rs.82 crore, Rs.70 crore, and Rs.17 crore, respectively. A global infrastructure EPC major, KEC has presence in power transmission and distribution, cables, railways, water, renewable, and civil.

Nila Infrastructures Ltd has secured an affordable housing construction contract worth Rs.1,072.8 million in Rajasthan, from Jodhpur Development Authority (JoDA), Government of Rajasthan (GoR), for construction of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) houses with G+3 pattern and internal Development as per Model No. 4A (i) of Chief Minister Jan Awas Yojana 2015 at Khasra No. 88, Village Barli, District Jodhpur. The project envisages overall construction of about 1.2 million sq. ft. built-up area to be completed within 48 months. The township/complex/campus will comprise total 3,152 residential units i.e. 2,128 for EWS with ~325 sq. ft. super built-up area and 1,024 for LIG with ~500 sq. ft. super built-up area. The company will also get the balance vacant land of 7.5 acres towards part-remuneration, once the project reaches 50 per cent completion.

GE Power India has received a contract for approximately Rs.327.5 crore from Doosan Power Systems India Pvt Ltd. The order is for supply of four units of 660 MW electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) for its prestigious supercritical power projects of UP Government; Obra C 2x660 MW project of Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, and Jawaharpur 2x660 MW of Jawaharpur Vidyut Utpadan Nigam. These ESPs, to be equipped with the latest controllers provided by GE, will have very low particulate emissions — much lesser than the new compliance norms expected to be rolled out soon in the country.

PNC Infratech has bagged Rs.2,159 crore contract for six-laning a highway stretch in Uttar Pradesh. The price bids were opened last month with PNC's bid emerging as L1. The NHAI project involves six-laning of the 145 km long Chakeri -Allahabad section of NH 2, and will be executed on a Hybrid Annuity Mode basis. This is the fifth hybrid annuity project won by PNC Infratech having construction period of two years and operation period of 15 years.

PSP has been awarded main contract works at Surat Diamond Bourse, Khajod valued at Rs.1,575 crore. The company received a Letter of Intent for main contract works at Surat Diamond Bourse, Khajod, Surat, Gujarat. A detailed work order and contract document is under process and will follow shortly. The contract value excludes the  Goods and Service Tax (GST), according to a regulatory filing. 




Value Rs.167 cr.


Sadbhav Engineering has bagged a project worth Rs.167.46 crore for development of land for Smart Industrial Port City (SIPC) in Kandla, at the Kandla-Gandhidham-Adipur complex. The company has been declared the successful bidder (L1) in respect of the bid invited by Kandla Port Trust, located in Kutch district, Gujarat. Bid price for the project is Rs.167.46 crore and the construction period is nine months.



Value Rs.189.5 cr.


RPP Infra Projects has won a work order worth Rs.189.5 crore from Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board). The order for improvement of water supply distribution system extended to area of Coimbatore City Corporation including a trial run and commissioning followed by paid maintenance for one year. The work has to be completed within 24 months and trial run for six months.

Man Industries (India) Ltd (MIIL), bagged an order worth Rs.925 crore from  Gas Authority India Ltd. (GAIL), to supply 1,16,000 mt of line pipes for its Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline project (JHBDPL), Phase II, to be executed within a period of 9 to 12 months.  With this, MIIL’s outstanding order book stands at approximately Rs.2,700 crore, the company said.

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd (JISL), has bagged the Bhusawal (Maharashtra) water supply project of Rs.84.5 crore from Bhusawal Municipal Council through national competitive bidding. The project has received funding under the AMRUT scheme of the central government. The project involves work from source to customers’ premises, comprising intake structures, water treatment plant, 220 km pipe line, which includes raw water, pure water main pipelines, and distribution system, and 11 RCC elevated storage tanks. This scheme will take care of water supply to Bhusawal city (Maharashtra) for the next 30 years. The project will deliver water from Tapi river to Bhusawal, and will be implemented in 24 months.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, has secured new orders/notification of award of Rs.1,057 crore. KTPL secured two orders worth Rs.913 crore for design, supply and construction of 500 kV and 225/90 kV transmission lines in Thailand and Africa. Another order for pipeline installation and associated terminal works of Kochi Salem Pipeline Pvt Ltd (KSPPL) is valued at Rs.144 crore. KSPPL is a 50:50 joint venture of Bharat Petroleum Corp and Indian Oil Corp. KTPL is executing several contracts in India, Africa, West Asia, CIS, SAARC, and Far East.

The pipes’ division of Jain Irrigation Systems has bagged a contract worth Rs.178.39 cr for supply, installation, and testing, of UGPL system of sub minor for irrigation through kundies in Chak area for Sardar Sarovar Project command. The project will irrigate 51051 Ha Command Area of Sardar Sarovar Project through underground pipeline network of length 1400 km, and will be executed in 15 months. Three districts will benefit from the project-Vadodara, Panchmahal, and Bharuch, in Gujarat State. Two hundred villages of six talukas –Padra, Waghodia, Vadodara, Dabhoi,Karjan, and Jambusar, will be the beneficiaries.
