Everest creates history, grabs biggest tower crane order!

Known for supplying safe, high performance, tower cranes, EVEREST ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT PVT LTD, now wears one more golden feather in its hat. This year the company got an order for 62 units of 12t flat top tower crane from construction major BG SHIRKE, which is the biggest tower crane order in the history of tower cranes. With this order Everest has supplied 158 units of tower cranes to the pre-cast building industry in India within a span of 3-4 years, says PV RAMDEV, MD, EVEREST ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT PVT LTD.

India is coming up with huge volume of low cost economic apartments through precast in all major cities. Precast building constructions are being done with highly mechanized technology, which will complete the entire 10-20 storey building in all respect, within 5-6 months of time. It is proven to be safe, long lasting, and very fast in construction. In this precast construction “Tower cranes” are playing a vital role to handle the precast segments in the yard and during the erection of these segments in the building.

Everest has customized these tower cranes according to Indian design Standards, very smooth operation for accurate placement of precast segments, competitive pricing with highest safety standards, including anti collision systems and safe load indicators (SLI). Through this high safety standard, precast segment rejections due to collisions and jerking placements are being eliminated.

All these cranes are inspected at the factory by an American 3rd party agency (SGS) and passed their rigorous tests. SGS is also conducting stage-wise inspections from raw material, welding, to final load testing, painting, and galvanizing. Which ensure the durability, accuracy and safety of these cranes. Everest also welcomes its customers to witness all these tests before dispatch of their order.

All the electrical connections are of plug type for quick installation and dismantling. All the mechanisms are selected from highly reputed manufacturers with IP55, VFD type (Variable frequency drive) motors to reduce the power consumption up to 35-40 per cent. If this tower crane is operated with DG set, then it can save about 4 liters of diesel per hour. Normally a tower crane operates for 20 hrs a day and 26 days a month, which will save about 2080 litres of diesel per month amounting to  Rs.1,24,800. You will be surprised to see that a saving of Rs.15,00,000 per year from diesel cost itself, which were burned for no reason.
