GAYATRI PROJECTS BAGS IRRIGATION CONTRACT

EPC company Gayatri Projects bagged Rs.1,363 crore irrigation contract from Karnataka Neeravari Nigama Ltd. The contract is a Joint Venture with RNS Infrastructure Ltd (RNS) and Sadguru Infratech Pvt Ltd (SIPL). The project entails a lift irrigation system to provide irrigation for 27,462 hectares in Karnataka. The contract also involves operations and maintenance of the system for 5 years after commissioning.

CAPACIT'E INFRAPROJECTS LTD BAGS ORDERS

Capacit'e Infraprojects Ltd (“Capacit'e”), has construction orders worth Rs.1,500 cr from leading real estate developers Oberoi, Wadhwa, Rustomjee and Kalpataru in Mumbai, Emaar in Gurgaon, and Ozone in Bengaluru. Significantly, all of these orders have been received after the demonetisation occurred. It has construction work of two super high rise buildings in the Enigma project in Mulund by Oberoi Constructions, which is a repeat order. Total value of orders from Oberoi Constructions Ltd is approximately Rs.300 Crores. Wadhwa Group’s orders exceed Rs.500 Crores. Capacit'e also bagged the Colonnade commercial building project in Gurgaon valued at Rs.100 Crores from Emaar Group. Early 2017, Kalpataru Group awarded construction of multiple high rise buildings valued at over Rs.500 Crores. Thus far, this has been the single largest order booked by Capacit'e. Other orders include a repeat orders from Rustomjee Group and Ozone Group.

MCNALLY BHARAT ENGG BAGS CONTRACT IN ANDHRA PRADESH

McNally Bharat Engineering has bagged a Rs.415-crore solar power project order in Andhra Pradesh. It received an order for design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, commissioning and operation and maintenance of 500-MW grid-connected solar PV power project, including civil works in Andhra Pradesh, on EPC basis for Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd for a value of Rs.415.29 crore.

L&T BAGS CONTRACT IN OMAN

L&T’s construction arm bagged orders worth Rs.2,170 crore across various business segments, including a Rs.1,169-crore contract in Oman. Its power T&D business won orders worth Rs.1,169 crore. It has also secured an order from Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC for turnkey construction of the 400/132 kV Qabel Grid Station and associated works. The business has secured two more orders for design, supply, construction and commissioning of five 132 kV substations in the UAE. In India it has won a contract from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd under the Integrated Power Development Scheme. L&T said its water and effluent treatment business has won an order worth Rs.360 crore, in addition to an EPC order from Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (RUDSICO), for a sewerage project with treatment facilities spread across three towns, namely Bharatpur, Gangapur and Hindaun.

ASHOKA CONCESSIONS LOWEST BIDDER FOR NHAI PROJECT

Ashoka Buildcon's subsidiary Ashoka Concessions Ltd (ACL), has emerged lowest bidder for NHAI’s a Rs.1,187.10-crore road project in Andhra Pradesh, for six-laning of Ranastalam to Anandpuram in Visakhapatnam (from km 6,34.000 to km 6,81.000) section of NH-5 {New NH-16} in the state of Andhra Pradesh under NHDP Phase-V on Hybrid Annuity Mode Project.

NBCC (INDIA) BAGS CONTRACT FROM MAHARASHTRA GOVERNMENT

NBCC (India) has bagged Maharashtra government contract for Gosikhurd National Irrigation Project in Vidarbha, valued at Rs.6,000 crore. For the first phase of the work valued at Rs.1,058 crore, an MoU between Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation and the company will be signed soon, the company informed the stock exchanges. Investors would closely monitor the development.

DOOSAN HEAVY INDUSTRIES & CONSTRUCTION BAGS CONTRACT IN INDONESIA

South Korean-based Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction has bagged a KRW300 billion ($262 million) deal to help upgrade the Muara Tawar power plant in Indonesia. According to the deal made with the Indonesian government-owned corporation Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) – who have a monopoly on electricity distribution in the region – Doosan will work in tandem with a state-run Indonesian construction firm. As South Korea’s top power equipment maker, Doosan has agreed to provide three steam turbines and eight boilers. Over the next 30 months, the capacity of the gas-powered plant will be increased from the current 1,150MW to 1,800MW. In December of last year, Doosan also won a similar deal in Indonesia worth KRW180 billion ($157 million).

L&T AND AFCON BAG CONTRACT FROM MEGA

L&T and Afcon bag Rs.1,675-crore order from Ahmedabad Metro MEGA, which also awarded  additional work worth Rs.1,400 crore involving constructing different overhead sections of the metro rail project. This is the costliest civil work to be undertaken in the first phase of the Rs.10,700-crore metro rail project. L&T will be constructing 4.38-km of the underground section between Kalupur and Shahpur, while Afcons will construct 2.45-km portion between Apparel Park and Kalupur, according to Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd.

L&T’S ELECTRICAL & AUTOMATION UNIT BAGS ORDER FOR DOHA METRO

L&T's electrical and automation unit has bagged an order worth Rs.500 crore from Qatar Rail Company (QRAIL) for Phase 1 of Doha Metro, The order will be executed by L&T Electrical & Automation FZE (LTEAFZE), the competency centre for L&T Electrical & Automation's automation business in UAE. The order entails supply, installation, testing, integration, commissioning and maintenance for five years for 37 stations.

HYUNDAI ENGINEERING BAGS ORDER FROM AHDAF

Hyundai Engineering signed a deal with AHDAF, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), and the agreement covers the construction of the second phase of Iran South Pars 12. The deal is worth at 3.098 billion euros and it is the largest in amount to date that domestic construction companies have won in Iran. The second phase project is to build a petrochemical plant at South Pars Gas Field in Tonbak, a region about 1,100 kilometers south of the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

PENNAR INDUSTRIES BAGS ORDERS

Pennar Industries Ltd today said it has bagged orders worth Rs.202 crore from various players including JSW Steel, Tata Power, GE Power and Thermax. It also received an order for CRF (cold roll formed) sections from BEML. Also received orders for module mounting structures from Tata Power, Waaree Energies, Adani Power and Greenko, among others. Pennar has also bagged orders for collecting electrodes from GE Power and Thermax in addition to the ones received from JSW Steel in its engineering services division. It has entered into defense products and received its first order from Ordinance Factory.

NILA INFRASTRUCTURE BAGS PROJECTS 

Ahmedabad-based Nila Infrastructures Ltd has bagged two key projects worth Rs.30 cr from the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation to construct Bus Terminal Facilities (BTF). In a move to improve the urban transport infrastructure, the Amreli BT facility has been awarded individually to Nila Infrastructures Ltd, while the Modasa BT facility has been awarded to it in consortium with Vyapti Infra build Pvt. Ltd, where Nila holds a share of 34 per cent, The projects entail creating an iconic structure and design fortified with modern facilities that integrate commercial facilities on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.

NBCC (INDIA) BAGS ORDER FROM MAURITIUS GOVERNMENT

NBCC (India) has signed a Rs.250 crore agreement with the Mauritius government and Landscope (Mauritius) for construction of new Supreme Court building on a PMC basis in Mauritius. The project completion period is 24 months.

A2Z INFRA ENGINEERING BAGS CONTRACTS

A2Z Infra Engineering has won three contracts worth over Rs.222 crore from Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. The three contracts aggregate a value of is Rs.222,57,18,684.

The contract is for execution of works for supply of material and erection of lines and substations under IPDS (Integrated Power Development Scheme) at Durg, Raipur and Bilaspur region in Chhattisgarh, it said.

PNC INFRATECH WINS ROAD CONTRACT FROM NHAI

PNC Infratech  has bagged two NHAI's  highway projects worth Rs.2,720 crore in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. One of the projects pertain to four-laning of 75 km Jhansi-Khajuraho section of NH 75/76 (package I) in the states of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) under NHDP III for Rs.1,410 crore. The other project is four-laning Jhansi-Khajuraho section of NH 75/76 (Package II) from km 76.30 to km 161.70 km for Rs.1,310 crore.

RPP INFRA PROJECTS LTD  BAGS ORDER

RPP Infra Projects Limited  has bagged orders from Karnataka Slum Development Board (KSDB) worth Rs.456 Million for Construction of 795 Ground Floor Dwelling units including infrastructure at 1 selected slums of Krishnaraja Area in Mysore city under PMAY-HFA Scheme. The project  is to be completed within 24 months.
