Event like BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016 would certainly add lot of value for sellers and buyers. We being an e-commerce platform closely knit with sellers and buyers, had a great exposure to our platform and conceived few orders of high value and many requirements for rentals as well. Bauma Conexpo has not met the expectation but indeed exceeded the expectations that we had in terms of outcome of the event.


Elaborate on your products and technologies launched at BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016

Our primary reason to be a part of BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA 2016 was to launch our platform for the end users and get them to use our platform for their day to day needs. as an e-commerce platform has received a big applause from the end users, OEM’s and other service based sector, where we have gathered orders and made people to understand the importance of such a platform which will ease their work pressure and purely concentrate in what they are supposed to.


On the takeaways from the event

A major takeaway on the very first day of Bauma ConExpo 2016 was that our stall was flooded with people wanting to know about our platform and how we can help them with respect to buying selling for new equipment’s, used and spares. People using traditional means are now switching over to new technologies. With the momentum gained in use of technology be it smart phones or internet, I am quite confident about good business being generated going forward.

Your views on the construction equipment sector opting for web based marketing solutions

Change is not constant and JIT is what been expected irrespective of the industry, with that being said WEB based or technology based marketing solutions will be the key for business going forward and we are front runner in bringing H2H e-commerce or marketplace especially for heavy equipment industry with a bottom up approach addressing customer needs, be it insurance, finance, negotiation, choosing right product and getting best deals for the end users.


On the demand for construction equipment going forward

The prospects of the construction equipment industry look attractive with a projected investment of $320 billion in the infrastructure sector over the next few years. The Indian market is catered by about 200 domestic manufacturers (small, medium  and large).

Though the Indian construction equipment industry is a fraction of the global market, whose size is over $75 billion, it has been growing at an average of 30 per cent annually compared to the global growth of 5 per cent. India is one among the top 10 markets for construction equipment and is one of the key international markets. Indian firms are strengthening their existing operations for catering to the growing domestic demand and are also planning to expand to tap overseas markets. At the same time international majors have ambitious plans for India.

We have spent more time in understanding dynamics of the market than our e-commerce platform age is.
