Briefly tell us about your product offerings and the key features/USPs that have contributed in strengthening and maintaining your stronghold in the market?
IndianOil’s Premium Lubricant Brand SERVO covers the entire gamut of applications in the Construction Industry equipment. The four major applications are Engine, Transmission, Axle and Hydraulics. In the Engine Oil segment, IOCL’s offerings include the API CJ-4 which are compatible with the latest after treatment devices used for maintaining Emission norms and regular Grades meeting API CI-4, CI-4+, CH-4, all capable of delivering very high performance under severe operating conditions. In the Hydraulic segment, IOCL’s cutting edge research has developed premium products like Servo Hyvis EE 46, which is currently setting the Industry benchmark on Fuel Economy Benefits up to 12 per cent. Long drain oils lasting up to 4000 hours have also been developed. Thus, The Servo Hydraulic oil basket contains grades to meet all needs and applications. In the Transmission and Final Drive segments, IOCL R&D's studies on impact of Fluid viscous drag on the Transmission efficiency and Fuel economy has resulted in development of several new generation transmission and axle oils which, provide Long drain , durability, and fuel economy gains. IOCL has also developed High Performance Engine coolants incorporating the most robust additive chemistries to give performance levels upto 3000 hours.



Briefly give us an understanding about your manufacturing units – location, size, production capacity, technologies used etc?
IOCL has a total of 10 Integrated Blending plants spread across the country with a total manufacturing capacity of 4,50,000 MT PA . The plants are located in Asaoti (Near Delhi), Kolkata, Budge Budge, Mumbai, Silvassa, Taloja, Khapri (Near Nagpur), Chennai, Tadepalli, and Vashi (Grease Plant). Apart from the above a standalone small can filling plant is also located in Manesar. The recent plants in Asaoti and Silvassa employ the State of the art Automatic Batch Blending, ILB (Inline Blending) technologies employing DDU Control systems.



As a company what are your specific plans for bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2016?

We would be showcasing the lubricants specifically being used in Mining and Construction Equipment industry.



What are the organisational surprises we can expect from you at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2016?

Our focus products in display would be “Servo Pride Max 15w40” -a API CJ-4
engine oil and “Servo Hyvis EE 46” - a hydraulic oil for excavators which helps you save on fuel costs and improve productivity.



Give us an understanding of your company’s performance this year and your outlook going forward?

So far during the year, till Oct’16, our lubricant sales have been highly encouraging. Servo is consistently knocking industry leading growth rates through the months. In fact, we are witnessing superior traction across all major product segments. We expect the trend to continue during the remaining period of the year as well.

Given the tremendous scope and growth opportunity available in Indian lubricants market, we are really very excited to participate in India’s growth story. We are taking a lot of new initiatives to transform our lube business and investing a lot on building our capability to capture the future growth. We are committed to remain No.1 in the Indian lubricants market, both by volumes and profitability.
