Over 150 exhibitors from India and all over the world are to showcase their offerings at the 4th edition of Concrete Show India 2016 to be held in Mumbai.


UBM India is all set to organise the 4th edition of the Concrete Show India, the only show exclusively dedicated to the concrete industry, covering key sectors like roads and highways, housing, airports, ports, power, rail, dams and bridges.


Concrete Show India 2016 will showcase latest offerings in categories including Concrete and Construction, Construction equipments and IT systems, Construction Chemicals, Technologies in Machinery, Services and Systems from industry suppliers. The three day show will provide opportunities to architects and engineers, commercial and resident developers and contractors, distributors, government authorities and state corporations to interact and network with exhibitors from across the industry.


The show will be marked by over 150 exhibitors including industry players like Cosben Equipments, Elematic India Private Limited, Godrej Construction, Hess Concrete Machinery India Pvt. Ltd., Hyundai Aluminum Co. Ltd., J K Cement, JSW Cement, Masa Concrete Plants India Pvt. Ltd., Perma Construction Aids Pvt. Ltd., PERI India Private Limited, ROTHO - Robert Thomas, Smooth-On, Inc., Sommer Anlagentechnik GmbH, Toyota Forms, WAM India Pvt. Ltd. and WEHRHAHN Gmbh amongst others. The show will also see participation from countries such as China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Republic of Korea, UK and USA.


The expo has been well received by the industry at large with support from the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Builder Association of India (BAI), Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) (ACCE), Indian Society of Structural Engineers (ISSE), The Institute of Engineers India (IEI), Indian Association of Structural Engineers (IAstruct),Indian Institute of Bridge Engineering (IIBE) and Cement Manufactures Association (CMA).


The expo will hold a two day conference which will include a series of presentations and panel discussions to discuss and deliberate on industry topics.


The topics for discussion include ‘Advances in Design Techniques for Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Structures’, ‘Seismic Design of Multistorey Buildings’, ‘Tall Buildings : Current Trends and Future Prospects’, ‘Precast Concrete Technology: An Emerging Trend In India’, ‘Modern Trends In Design and Construction of Flyovers, Elevated Structures, Underground Structures and Tunnels’, ‘Design And Construction of Flexible and Rigid Pavements’ amongst others.


Speaking on the announcement of the 4th edition of the show, Mr. Yogesh Mudras, MD, UBM India said, “The government’s mega push for infrastructure and road projects provides a huge potential for stakeholders in the sector. This year also marks a number of firsts for Concrete Show India. The expo will feature international pavilions for the very first time in four editions. The expo has also virtually doubled in size this year through the introduction of the key categories: Concrete & Construction, Construction Equipments and IT and Construction Chemicals.”
