NBCC to construct hospital for SAIL

Navratna public sector undertaking NBCC (India) Ltd has bagged an order from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) worth Rs 250 crore for the construction of Ispat Post-Graduate Medical Institute and Super-Speciality Hospital at Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela. The proposed hospital will have 156 beds accommodating super-specialities like cardiology, cardiac surgery, neurology and nephrology. The new super-speciality block, 500-seater Auditorium and the medical institute will be spread across 3 lakh sq.ft.

NBCC to build CBSE HQ

Navratna public sector undertaking NBCC (India) Ltd has bagged an order worth Rs 150 crore for construction of CBSE integrated office building at Sec-23, Dwarka, New Delhi which has been awarded to it by Central Board of Secondary Education. The proposed building will be a fully equipped state-of-art structure with energy efficient green features as per GRIHA standards. To be built on a plot area of 3 acres, it shall be a multi-storey building with basement parking and auditorium.

Ahluwalia Contracts bags terminal building at Dehradun Airport project

Delhi-based construction major Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd on Monday said that it has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 411.77 crore (approx.) for construction of airport and commercial including electrical, plumbing & firefighting services.

According to the company, the orders include a project worth Rs 353.27 crore for construction of domestic passenger terminal building at Dehradun Airport and the remaining Rs 58.50 crore is for other construction project.

L&T Construction Bags EPC Order

The Buildings & Factories Business of Mumbai-based of L&T Construction has bagged an EPC order worth Rs 3,028 Crore from GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL). The scope of work includes execution and implementation of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for expansion of the Terminal Building and Airside Infrastructure Works at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Reliance Infrastructure set to bag airport EPC contract

Reliance Infrastructure is all set to bag an order for construction of an airport at Hirasar in Gujarat’s Rajkot district. The Anil Ambani-led company’s bid of around Rs 650 crore emerged the lowest tender floated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the construction contract. The new airport is expected to reduce the bottleneck at the existing Rajkot airport, which is small and cannot be expanded.

Kridhan Infra Associate Firm VNC Bags bag fertilizer plant project in UP

Kridhan Infra Ltd (KIL), a Mumbai-headquartered infrastructure solutions firm, announced that its associate company Vijay Nirman Company Pvt Ltd (VNC) has been awarded a new project worth Rs 132.6 crore. The award has been granted for the main civil works for a Fertilizer plant in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and the timeframe for the completion of the project is approximately 14 months.

NCC bags orders worth to Rs 689 cr in July

Infrastructure firm NCC has received two new orders worth `689 crore in July from state government agencies. The company said it has received an order of `554 crore pertaining to buildings division and an order of `135 crore related to the electrical division. As per the company, it has so far received new orders of `4,357.8 crore (exclusive of GST) up to July, 2018 of the current financial year.

L&T bags contract for Hyderabd Airport

GMR Infrastructure Limited has recently declared that its subsidiary GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited issued Letter of Intent to award to Larsen & Toubro Limited and Megawide Construction Corporation to carry out some airport expansion works worth Rs 30.28 billion and Rs 9.8 billion respectively. According to a filing with the bourses, GMR said the work related to expansion of terminal building and airside infrastructure contracts and the works were awarded through international competitive bidding on L1 basis.

L&T construction arm bags construction projects across segments

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) declared that its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 1,296 crore across business segments in the domestic market. L&T said its metallurgical and material handling business has received orders worth Rs 808 crore. The scope includes supply and laying of water supply pipe lines including all electro mechanical works. This project aims to augment water requirements for their existing power plant at Bellary.

JMC bags water pipeline project in Odisha

JMC Projects (India) Ltd (JMC), one of India’s leading civil engineering and EPC companies and a part of the real estate developer Kalpataru Grouphas secured new orders of `556 crore. According to a company statement, the orders include a project for laying of water pipeline in Orissa for Rs 283 crore. The remaining order is for construction of residential buildings and associated infrastructure development works at Nalanda University, Bihar for Rs 273 crore.

JSPL bags long rails Contract

 Private steel maker JSPL has bagged 20 per cent of the Rs 2,500 crore global tender by the Indian Railways to supply long rails. According to the reports, the company has received 20 per cent of the tender floated by the Railways. Indian Railways had invited the global tender for procuring around 4.87 lakh metric tonnes of rails to meet the shortfall of supply from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).The Indian Railways is looking at 4,000 km of track renewal in each of the next two financial years, 2018-19 and 2019-20. Its estimated cost for 2018-19 is a little above Rs 10,000 crore.

Kolkata-based GPT Infraprojects Ltd bags railway projects in UP

Kolkata-based GPT Infraprojects Ltd has bagged a new order worth Rs 362.16 crore in the state of Uttar Pradesh. According to a company statement, the order involves construction of Roadbed, Viaduct, Major and Minor Bridges, RUBs, ROBs, Track Linking and General Electrical Works at both the approaches of Rail cum Road Bridge at Ghazipur (18.8 km) in connection with Construction of New BG Line from Mau to Tarighat in Varanasi Division of NE Railway and Danapur Division of EC Railway in Uttar Pradesh.The project, which is the largest single value contract in the history of the company, has a completion period of 24 months

KEC International bags turnkey orders across businesses

RPG Group company KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,357 crore across its businesses. The company's transmission & distribution business secured turnkey orders of `1,234 crore across India, Middle East, Africa, SAARC and the America. The company has also bagged order for 138 kV transmission line and associated substation in Nicaragua; 400 kV D/C River Crossing Transmission Line in Bangladesh; 765 kV Transmission Line in Northern India from a leading private player for a TBCB project, and a substation order from a leading private tyre company, according to the statement.

Jain Irrigation bags order to execute Mohanpura project

Jain Irrigation recently declared that it has received an order worth Rs 975 crore from Madhya Pradesh government to execute the Mohanpura Major Project. The project Mohanpura is located in Rajgarh district- one of the underdeveloped districts of the state. In a regulatory filing, the company said it has received the 'Letter of Intent' from the state government to bring 2,28,475 acres of cultivable command area under micro-irrigation. Completion of this project will not only save a huge amount of precious water source but will also increase the yields of the crops grown in the project area.

Gayatri Projects bags road projects in UP

Gayatri Projects has bagged two orders worth Rs 2759 crore for development of Purvanchal Expressway project from Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority. The first order worth Rs 1,483 crore is for development of Purvanchal Expressway project (Package-I) from Chand Sarai (Dist. Lucknow) to Sansara (District Barabanki) in Uttar Pradesh, Gayatri Projects said in a BSE filing. The second order worth Rs 1,276 crore is for development of Purvanchal Expressway project (Package-II) from Sansara to Jaraikala (District Amethi) in Uttar Pradesh.

L&T Heavy Engineering Wins prestigious orders

The Heavy Engineering arm of Larsen & Toubro has won orders worth Rs 1600 cr Crore to supply critical Reactors and heavy equipment to Refining, Petrochemical and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) industries. These prestigious orders were received in the current financial year. The orders, which were won against stiff global competition, include Hydrocracking Reactors, Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) Reactor & Regenerator Systems and Ethylene Oxide Reactors. Of the order inflow, orders worth Rs 1,470 crore are from International clients from USA, Europe, Middle East, CIS and China. These orders will be executed at Hazira, Gujarat at L&T’s fully integrated, state-of-the-art, coastal manufacturing facility, one of the largest of its kind in the World.
