AHLUWALIA CONTRACTS BAGS NEW COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has secured new orders from HSCC (India) Ltd for the construction from HSCC (India) Ltd. The order includes the construction of a Hospital and Academic Campus at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) at Kalyani (West Bengal) and the construction of Hospital and Academic Campus at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) at Nagpur (Maharashtra).The cost of the projects are `652 crore and `583 crore respectively.

BHEL BAGS THERMAL POWER REVAMP PROJECT IN TELANGANA

BHEL, Indian state owned power equipment manufacturer has secured an order worth `137 crore for the renovation and modernisation of electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) at a thermal power station in the state of Telangana. The order is to work on the out renovation and modernisation of ESPs of three units of 200 MW each at Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station (STPS), stage-I (3x200 MW) of NTPC.

TATA PROJECTS LTD BAGS MUMBAI METRO'S ELEVATED LINE

The Tata Projects Ltd - China Harbour Engineering Company JV has won orders worth `1,048 crore for Mumbai Metro's elevated line. The company recently received the LoA (Letter of Award) for the constructing of two packages of the Mumbai Metro Elevated Line 4. The packages lie on the line extending between Wadala and Kasaradavali. The project involves the design and construction of 14 elevated stations with a viaduct of 12.5 kms.

RINFRA, ASTALDI JV WINS MUMBAI METRO CONTRACT

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd has received the Letter of Award (LOA) from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for three packages worth `1,584 crore for the construction of Mumbai Metro for the North-South Metro-4 corridor. The scope of work includes, part design and construction of elevated viaduct and elevated stations (excluding architectural finishing and pre-engineered steel roof structure of stations) of Line - 4 Corridor (Wadala to Kasarvadavali) of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA.

 

The consortium of RIL and ASTALDI was awarded 'Package-8' on the Metro-4 corridor which is from Central Harbour suburbs Wadala to Chembur comprising 6.4 km elevated viaduct, six elevated stations and two railway crossings first at Priyadarshini Park and second at Amarmahal Junction, 'Package-10 which is from Gandinagar junction to Bhandup Sonapur on LBS road comprising 6.7 km elevated viaduct and six elevated stations, and 'Package 12' from Kapurbawdi to Kasarvadavali in Thane comprising 6.8 km elevated viaduct and six stations on the same line.

Hinduja Group _ agship Ashok Leyland has bagged orders from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for supplying the company’s High Mobility 10×10 Vehicles (HMV 10×10).  The company’s trucks will to carry the Smerch

VA TECH WABAG BAGS NAMAMI GANGE ORDERS

VA Tech Wabag has recently it won orders worth of `5,200 million under Namami Gange scheme and repeat order from oil & gas sector. The company has bagged `1,470 million orders from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corp. Ltd., under the NMCG to design, build and operate a 60 MLD sewage treatment plant at Pahari, Patna. In addition to this, the company also won a repeat order for `830 million to design, build and operate a 124-MLD water treatment plant at Rajpur-Sonarpur in Kolkata from the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority.

IRB INFRA BAGS PROJECT IN UP

Toll road builder IRB Infrastructure Developers has bagged the `3,400-crore Hapur Bypass Build Operate Transfer project. This is the company’s fourth successive project win under the the Hybrid Annuity Model. _ e project comprises sixlaning of the 99.867-km stretch on NH-9 (earlier NH-24) on the Hapur Bypass, from Hapur to Moradabad. IRB will get tolling rights on the project and pay a premium of `31.5 crore to NHAI from the fourth year  from the appointed date according to the provisions of the concession agreement. Meanwhile, IRB has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from National Highways Authority of India for all three projects recently bagged under the Hybrid Annuity Model.

BAJAJ ELECTRICALS WINS ORDER FROM PuVVNL

Bajaj Electricals bagged orders worth 2,389.03 crore from Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd (PuVVNL) for rural electrification projects in Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work includes rural electrification and related work as per DPR of project mentioned in tender including all other work on turnkey basis. The project will be undertaken in PuWNL zones in Varanasi, Fatehpur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh and Mau and Ballia in Uttar Pradesh

SADBHAV INFRA BAGS 2 ROAD PROJECTS FROM NHAI

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project has bagged two road projects worth `1,567.92 crore from NHAI in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh. The company has received a letter of award from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a new hybrid annuity project in Andhra Pradesh. Project bid price is `520.3 crore,” Sadbhav Infrastructure Project said in a BSE filing today. The project is for a four-lane connectivity to Visakhapatnam Port Road from 0.00 km to 12.700 km in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, I n a separate filing, the company said it has received a letter of award from NHAI for new a hybrid annuity project worth `1,047.62 crore in Gujarat. The project is for upgradation to four lane with paved shoulder of Bhimasar Junction of NH-41 to Anjar-Bhuj up to Airport Junction from 0.00 km to 65.478 km of NH-341 in Gujarat.

DB ENGG-LOUIS BERGER BAGS CONTRACT FOR MUMBAI METRO 4

Louis Berger as part of a DB Engineering-led consortium has recently been awarded a project management and construction management services contract by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for 32.3-km long Mumbai Metro's line 4. According to the contract, Louis Berger will prepare, package and finalise tender documents for system contracts.

The scope of work also includes verification and approval of all civil and system contract design submissions, rolling stock, supervision of all construction activities, certification of vendor sources and inspection of vendor products and services, as well as integration of systems, exercising strict cost control measures, ensuring specifications, installing systems and commissioning rolling stock, monitoring and reporting progress of all works, safety and quality at work sites, and supervision of system trials and system integration.The Mumbai Metro Line 4 will be a 32.3-km long elevated corridor with 32 stations, connecting Wadala with Kasarvadavali on Thane’s Ghodbunder Road. The total estimated cost of construction is `15,549 crore

NHAI AWARDS CONTRACT FOR HIGHWAY IN KARNATAKA

NHAI has awarded two projects worth `1,395.38 crore in Karnataka to Ashoka Concessions and Dilip Buildcon for widening of stretches of NH 4A.  The four-laning of Belgaum-Khanapur Section of about 30 km has been awarded to Ashoka Concessions on Hybrid Annuity Mode at a cost of `892.16 crore.  Besides, two-laning of about 52 km of the highway on Karnataka/Goa border has been awarded to Dilip Buildcon on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode at a cost of `503.22 crore. The projects involve construction of two major and six minor bridges and five railway over bridges (ROBs), for free movement of traffic in major cross roads and reduce conflicts. Two bypasses have also been proposed for the stretch. The concession period of the projects is 17.5 years, including construction period of 2.5 years.

SIMPLEX INFRASTRUCTURES LTD BAGS ORDERS FOR Q4 FY18

Simplex Infra has procured orders worth `2595 cr in the fourth quarter from January to March’18. This has taken the total Order inflow during FY18 amounts to `7,666 crore.  The total orders include 87 per cent from Public sector, 98 per cent from Domestic territories and 2 per cent from abroad.  The construction verticals that have contributed to the new order inflow during FY18 are Urban infrastructures 29 per cent, Power generation 13 per cent, Power transmission 6 per cent, Institutional buildings 10 per cent residential buildings 8 per cent, roads and Bridges 18 per cent, Marine  construction 9 per cent, Piling 5 per cent and Industrial Construction 3 per cent.

ADANI WINS ROAD PROJECT IN CHHATTISGARH

Adani Group recently entered into transport infrastructure and has bagged a `1,140 crore highway project won by a consortium led by its holding firm in Chhattisgarh from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).  The project involves four-laning with paved shoulder of 53.3 km stretch on Bilaspur-Pathrapali section of NH-111 (New NH-130) in Chhattisgarh under Bharatmala Pariyojana on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The construction period for the project has been fixed as 730 days while operational period would be 15 years.

RINFRA WINS EPC CONTRACT FOR KKNPP

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra) has won a new purchase order of `1,081 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for Common Services System, Structure & Components (SSC) package and allied civil works of Unit -3 and 4 of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project at Tirunelveli District in Tamil Nadu. It is learnt that the contract involves design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of SSC package and allied civil works on EPC basis. The project is to be commissioned in 56 months.

JMC Projects (India) Ltd (JMC) has secured new orders of `942 Crores from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The scope of work is as follows:  Four-laning of Madurai-Chettikulam section of NH 785 in Tamil Nadu on EPC basis for `486 Crores

THANE–VADAPE HYBRID ANNUITY PROJECT

MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd in a joint venture (JV) with its partner, Long Jian Road & Bridge Company Ltd, has received the Letter of Award from National Highway Authority of India for a project under the Hybrid Annuity Model in Maharashtra for a bid project cost of `1,182.87 crore.  The project includes eight laning of Vadape to Thane on National Highway NH-848 in Maharashtra. The project is under the new Hybrid Annuity Mode, which are a mix of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and build operate transfer (BOT) system. The Authority and the concessionaires share the total project cost in the ratio of 40: 60 respectively.

BHEL BAGS ORDER FOR SUPERCRITICAL POWER PLANT

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged a major order for setting up a 1×660 MW supercritical thermal power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The project cost including taxes & duties is at approximately `4,400 crore. The project located at Panki in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, will be executed by BHEL on Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) basis. The plant shall be equipped with emission control equipment to meet the revised emission norms, notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change..

L&T'S CONSTRUCTION BAGS ORDERS ACROSS BUSINESS SEGMENTS

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) recently declared that the construction arm of the company has bagged orders worth `3,376 crore across business segments.

The company’s  power transmission and distribution business has secured orders worth `1,226 crore on both domestic and international market. Similarly, the company’s water and effluent treatment business has received an order worth `1,200 crore, and its building and factories business has won orders in health and automobile sector worth `950 crore.

L&T WINS CONTRACT FROM NPCIL

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a `747-crore order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India to supply steam generators. According to the contract, the company has to supply steam generators and end shields for its indigenously designed 700 MWe Pressurised Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) to be set up at Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojana (GHAVP) in Fatehabad district of Haryana. These orders are in addition to the recent orders worth `442 crore received by L&T Special Steel & Heavy Forgings for supply of forgings for steam generators.

DILIP BUILDCON BAGS PROJECTS IN KARNATAKA, MAHARASHTRA

Highway developer Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has bagged projects worth a total `4,114 crore from state-run NHAI in Karnataka and Maharashtra. The projects are to be built on 'Hybrid Annuity Model. The scope of work in Karnataka involves four laning of Byrapura to Challakere section of NH-150 A, while in Maharashtra, the task is four-laning of three road sections of National Highway 166.

DILIP BUILDCON BAGS PROJECTS IN MADHYA PRADESH

Highways builder Dilip Buildcon (DBL) recently announced that it has won a `1,004 crore road contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves construction of road tunnel, viaduct and Churhat Bypass of Rewa Sidhi Section of NH 75E in Madhya Pradesh on build, operate and transfer mode. The construction period of the project is 18 months.

RINFRA BAGS EPC ORDER FROM MORTH

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra), part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has recently won a contract for the rehabilitation and upgrading of National Highway – 66 (formerly, NH–17) in the Kashedi Ghat section which includes execution of three by three lane twin tunnels of total length 3.44 km. the project was awarded by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The contract, in addition to the twin tunnels, includes construction of highway with paved shoulders and viaducts for a length of 7.2 Km.

L&T CONSTRUCTION BAGS NEW ORDERS ACROSS SEGMENTS

The construction arm of Mumbai-based Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has won orders worth `1,521 crore across segments. The heavy civil Infrastructure business of the company has bagged an order worth `1,396 crore out of the total orders. The West Bengal Highway Development Corporation Ltd (WBHDCL) has awarded the project  for the construction of a six-lane extra-dosed bridge across the river Hooghly besides existing Iswar Gupta Setu at Kalyani, West Bengal. The project site is 50 km north of Kolkata. The entire length of the project is 21 km which consists of a six-lane extra-dosed bridge of 714m, widening of the existing road corridor into a 4/6 lane divided carriageway and an elevated corridor of about 20km. Further, the smart world communication business unit of the company also secured an order worth `125 Crore.

Capacit'eInfraprojects Limited has received contracts worth `365.50Crore from Oberoi Realty Group. The scope of the work includes residential rehab and sale tower located at Tardeo,  Mumbai. The company has also bagged project which involves the construction of a proposed mixed use development project located at Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai from I-Ven Realty Ltd. The order is worth`220Crores.

MEP INFRA RECEIVES LOA FROM NHAI

MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd (‘MEP’) has received Letter of Award (LOA) from Indian Highways Management Company Limited (An initiative of NHAI)for providing Services of Hybrid ETC & Toll Management Systems at Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) for a contract amount of `28.71 crore. The contract is for 2 years and the will commence from the date of the signing of the Contract Agreement including the time required for installation and commissioning of all services being provided under this agreement.

KEC INTERNATIONAL WINS SCORES ACROSS BUSINESS

Infrastructure firm KEC International has won new orders worth `2,419 crore across its businesses. The group’s Transmission & Distribution business has secured orders of `1,650 crore across India, SAARC and the Americas. The new contracts include a turn key orders for construction of power substations in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Bihar. While the company bagged order from KPTCL for substations and associated transmission line in Karnataka, PGCIL has awarded the work for substations in Bihar. In addition, it has won a turn key order for 220 kV overhead transmission line in Afghanistan while SAE Towers has received various orders from the Americas. In Railways, the company said it has secured composite and overhead electrification orders aggregating to `769 crore across India

L&T BAGS EPC CONTRACT FOR NEW DRY DOCK IN KOCHI

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has emerged the lowest bidder in a tender issued by Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract of a new dry dock — the third in the state-run yard. The new dry dock will help CSL build very large ships such as capesize bulk carriers, general cargo ships, Aframax and Suezmax tankers, Panamax and post Panamax type container ships, LNG carriers, oil drilling rigs, semi-submersible rigs and better versions of aircraft carriers. The new dry dock will be a ‘stepped’ dock with a length of 310 m (the existing dry docks have a length of 270 m each), width of 75 m at the wider part, width of 60 m at the narrower part and depth of 13 m with a draught of up to 9.5 m.

ASHOK LEYLAND BAGS ORDER TO SUPPLY OF BUSES IN TAMIL NADU

Ashok Leyland, flagship of Hinduja Group, has won an order worth `321 crore for supply of 2,100 buses from The Institute of Road Transport (IRT) in Tamil Nadu. As per the details, it will supply 2,000 passenger chassis and 100 of fully built small buses to various state transport undertakings (STUs) in Tamil Nadu.

IRB BAGS HIGHWAY PROJECTS IN TAMIL NADU , PUDUCHERRY

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded highway projects worth `4,452.56 crore to IRB Infrastructure Developers and Oriental Structural Engineers in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. The other two works pertained to `1294.47 crore and `998.70 crore projects for four-laning of 38 km stretch of Puducherry - Poondiyankuppam section of NH 45A and 29 km section of Viluppuram - Puducherry on NH 45A. Reports suggests that Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt Ltd was given the `1,294.47 crore contract while the other went to IRB Infrastructure Developers.

DILIP BUILDCON WINS BHARATMALA PROJECTS IN TELANGANA

Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL), a Bhopal-based EPC contractor, has been awarded a new highway project order worth `936 crore in the State of Telengana under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The projects include four laning of NH-161 from Mangloor (Design Km 86.788/ existing km 91.350) to Telengana/ Maharashtra border spanning 49 km in Telangana under the Bharatmala Pariyojana on Hybrid Annuity Mode. The project has a construction period of 24 months and an operation period of 15 years from COD.

MEP INFRASTRUCTURE HITS A HAT-TRICK WITH PROJECT

MEP Infrastructure Developers Ltd , in a joint venture (JV) with its partner, Long Jian Road & Bridge Company Ltd has emerged as a prefferd bidder for 3 Hybrid Annuity Road (HAM) Construction projects of National HighwaysAuthority of India, namely, four laning of Ausa-Chakur, four laning of Chakur-Loha and four laning of Loha-Waranga packages, in the state of Maharashtra, for an aggregate Bid project cost `2921.83 crore.

3. Four Laning of Loha-Waranga National Highway NH-361 In State Of Maharashtra

  • Project Details:
  • Length Of Project Highway - 56.569 Km (CH. 187.800 KM TO CH. 244.369 KM)
  • Bid project cost - `1073.1cr
  • Construction Period - 730 Days
  • Concession Period - 15 Years
  • 1st year O&M cost – `3.0cr

These projects are under the new Hybrid Annuity Mode, which are a mix of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and build operate transfer (BOT) system. The Authority and the concessionaires share the total project cost in the ratio of 40: 60 respectively.  This model of BOT Hybrid Annuity will definitely aid in reviving the highway sector in the country.
