Post Event Report- India Warehousing Show 2017

IWS 2017 a resounding success…

 

In its 7th Edition, the warehousing show was a rocking success full of innovative programmes like Investment Talk, and business matchmaking.

 

India Warehousing Show (IWS) celebrated another successful year! Covering every facet of warehousing and supply chain industry, the 7th edition of IWS welcomed over 8448 visitors, an unprecedented increase from 2016 and displayed over 200 exclusive exhibitors. The array of exhibitor brought the best of industry manufacturing and servicing within the warehousing, material handling, and supply chain industry, all under one roof from 27-29 July 2017, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This was the perfect platform for invaluable exchanges of business and creative insights at the highest levels. Inaugurated by eminent industry leaders, the 3-day event was packed with focused seminars, keynote Speakers, and showcased cutting-edge technologies. Its refined profile with six clearly defined dimensions– Warehousing, Material Handling, Storage, Automation, Logistics, and Supply Chain – attracted exhibitors and visitors alike, exhibitors were positioned in their optimum segments while visitors conveniently found the suppliers they needed according to area of interest.

 

 

THE FLOOR SHOW

Spread over an area of 7000 sqm, this year’s show became even more international, with an increase of 20 per cent in foreign visitors. 12 countries were represented on the visitor’s side. These statistics set a new record, and testify to the growing interest that the show is generating among professionals directly involved in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain industry.

With 200+ exhibitors, including 50 new exhibitors from 11 nations, including Germany, UK, UAE, China, Italy, etc. reported excellent feedback on contacts and business deals. Exhibitors presented innovations ranging from robotics to Virtual Reality, focusing on future trends.

 

 

INVESTMENT TALK

The ‘Investment Talk,’ attracted professionals looking for investment opportunities available in the industry. Theme of the event was - How can Investors get investments to expand their warehousing, logistics and supply business. Eminent speakers, Sumit Dhanuka -- Precog Innovations, and, Sanjay Bansal from Aurum Equity, answered questions from the audience.

 

INFORMATIVE CONFERENCE

The ‘Warehousing Leadership Summit,’ a 2-day conference emerged as a “Show within the Show,” bringing together the full gamut of know-how and expertise, which had over 150 delegates and 50 speakers from leading companies like TVS Logistics, Bharti Corporation, Asian Paints, Abbott India, Nippon Express, Adidas India, Ecom Express, Morgan Stanley, and many more. The profile includes Country Heads, Directors, CEOs, VPs, and Senior Managers.
 

 

NICHE FOCUS

The new focused segments were business-match making and VIP buyer’sprogramme, which was an added success in the show. It received more than 612 pre-schedule appointments

This edition also had three-featured zones – Automation for Logistics, Supply Chain Zone and Packaging for Logistics.
